  1. So a bit of an update with this store. Since posting this she has never really opened fully since covid happened. I am told that she will open only by appointment only and you have to sign an agreement to spend at least $100 or she will not open. Now I have totally done that there before, but on my own terms. I kind of just assume for me they are closed now. So a bit of an update with this store. Since posting this she has never really opened fully since covid happened. 2. Of all the hughes covers wonder woman 184 is my favorite, which is why I decided to buy one again. should be coming in soon.
  3. I just got a high grade raw set of the Batman court of owls books in today. I'm not home so can't see them yet, but am pretty excited based on the photos of how good they will be.
  4. if you want to get it checked out to see what needs to be done to it, Frank at retrorewind.ca works on all types of commodore computers as well as Tandy computers officially too. I have a friend with a retro computer podcast/youtube channel so is how I now about the company
  5. Hi I have a complete up to this point run of the immortal hulk. 1-37 it’s a buy it now 349 with best offers accepted. The last complete listing sold for 308 yesterday but with less books and overall lower grades. These are also all in mylites and full backs. Take all that into consideration if you make an offer Immortal hulk listing
  6. I had a great experience selling to Alex. A great asset to the boards
  7. Edit: SOLD!!! Hi up for grabs is a house of secrets 92, 1st swamp thing. It’s a 7.0 restored purple label. Specifically it’s a c-1. The book was removed from it’s holder when I got it and was placed in a mylite 2 full back and archive. I wanted to take pictures of the color touch which is on the spine as you can see. I bought it for $785 and am asking $700 for it. That includes US shipping. Payment accepted is paypal. on to the rules. No HOS/probation users no returns US buyers only
  8. Hi up for sale are the Bernie Wrightson Swamp thing covers, 1-10. Issue 1 is graded 8.5 white pages. This is a lot so all issues are sold together. $450 gets them all. Shipping included For the ungraded books I bought all them as vf/nm. That said I will say they are VF to make sure I don’t over grade. the rules: no HOS/probation users no returns US buyers only Free shipping the first gets it any questions just ask
  9. 37 came out today, it was a fairly interesting, though somewhat, choppy read. It's important to understand the leader is occupying multiple spaces/people which will make it make much more sense. I also picked up #0 which came out last week I believe and it contains both new material and previously released material as well.
  10. Isn’t the first appearance of the new years eve ball drop the first time it happened ever? All those scenarios don’t count you mentioned since it’s not the first one ever
  11. I thought I never had but I realize that’s not true any longer. Two books I had pressed and returned to me sometime in May.
  12. I only have one and it’s a current book, immortal hulk I used to have batman new 52(twice) Wolverine vol 1,2,3 ultimate spiderman All the blackest night books all the civil eat books all the age of apocalypse books that might be it
  13. yeah it's probably worth it to someone without using specific information concerning their potential value or any jargon, it could be good for you?
  14. not in every case and that's because if you factor in the cost of the grading, even if there was an increase in price, the grading cost alone doesn't make up for the difference unless you got the book for ultra cheap or say free. where you get a huge bump is 9.8 pricing and even then it's not always worth it. basically the book needs to be significant in order for it to make sense to send off for grading, if the intention is to sell it.
  15. If what I think you are asking is what you are in fact asking, no the membership fee is a separate transaction. if you though want to know if your coupons are applied to your order because you paid for the tier that has such coupons, then you are supposed to notify CGC when you want to apply the coupon such as in the notes on the submission or I guess you can call them to see if it can be applied. otherwise, its a separate transaction as I mentioned before.
  16. I am guess to be sent for grading? I would probably call customer service to let them know of the error. You don't want extra charges on your card for nothing.
  17. Issue 36 was released today. Finally looks like Dr Frye is gonna be doing something, though not till next month.
  18. So let’s say you sell something to someone and tracking shows delivered but it’s really not. I’m not talking about a scam, but a legit screw up. When this happens ebay will side with the buyerbif there wasn’t a signature to confirm the delivery. I know because it happened to me as the buyer. I went to the PO and spoke with the driver about the missing package but nothing came from it so I had to report the issue to ebay and I got a refund
  19. I don’t need an anonymous poll to say my collection is about 2k maybe
  20. I got a lot of toys at KMart, Hills, and Hecks. This was in WV in the 80s. I would also go to KB Toys and occassionally Toys R Us as well. We also had a place called children's palace, but I rarely ever went there as my parents thought stuff was more expensive there, and it probably was. They had a bigger selection though for sure. I kind of for a very long time, even into adulthood, was buying toys so it was very cool that while in graduate school, I landed a job at Toys R Us so had access to stuff before customers did. Notably Toy Biz Marvel Legends. near the end of that run, some of those were insanely difficult to find. ah the days of old...
  21. I don’t think I have ever had more than one issue at a time, though I have bought an issue multiple times after getting rid of it. the one that qualifies for the most is probably batman new 52 #1, which I think I bought it 4 different times
  22. While the local PO doesn’t owe me anything I did outfit the entire back sorting floor with new super duty pressure reliefs mats as the PO didn’t have the budget for it. so they are pretty nice to me and I can get some real answers if I need them
