  1. That’s a cool score for you. I still am looking to get that Wrightson on the bottom right myself
  2. There was one I saw where the person was revealing the grade of the 1st hobgoblin. He said “this is the version without the tattooz” when he revealed the book not only was it not 9.6 like he thought, it was qualified and 8.5. He was genuinely confused it got a green label.
  3. Yeah I saw that. It’s a pre order on amazon but it says it’s 150. I thought it would be 99?
  4. I guess I didn’t think to look for this until yesterday, but I was happy to see there is a house of mystery/house of secrets omni
  5. i learned last week the golden age archives do not fit in the BCW black plastic storage bins. I had to use a graded bin to store the books I put in those holders.
  6. I am not certain I like that one guys art style much. I will probably need to look at it more, as I don't know who he really is. Though to be fair, I didn't know who Wrightson was until sometime in March.
  7. I believe I have 10 more Wrightson horror covers to get, so am not sure what I will want to go for after that. Maybe Neal Adams ones? I guess it’s also possible I’ll be done with getting stuff in the genre
  8. you're gonna have to pick up the pace to get to that goal...but we believe in you
  9. I just noticed it today and your avatar has never been more appropriate I feel
  10. I had some comics prior to this one, but not a lot so mine was probably spawn 1 as I was 11 when it came out.
  11. earlier this year a bunch of stuff went up in the golden and silver age buying section that many thought was underpriced. some made mention in the posts about them being underpriced. Pointing both scenarios out help the seller understand what is a better price to sell, but only one of those scenarios seem to be appropriate to talk about.
  12. So while I see this as a silly post I guess, I sort of figured that was the actual stance people took here in terms of selling.
  13. Four years ago I was working at a con and bought a GA book about the life and I believe exile of this catholic priest. I believe he was somewhere in Europe maybe when it happened or something. I remember, the overstreet guide noted it as particularly rare(though it’s not overly valuable) so the reason I cannot remember much about it is I gave it to my friend as a birthday gift since he is catholic. any help uncovering this is appreciated
  14. This was originally scheduled in june but was rescheduled for it’s current dates. a new promoter has made it 2 days for the first time ever will be interesting to see how it goes. http://www.huntingtoncomiccon.com it has been canceled as of today and rescheduled for next year in June
  15. My issue 34 just arrived in the mail today. I got a cool condensed understanding of the leader I was unaware of. What it means to this storyline I don’t know
  16. So looking through the sellers items and their feedback I believe something will be shipped out, though what exactly was sold is the question. It’s too cheap to be an original but too expensive for a reprint. With the buyer having a protected sale, it will be okay in the end though
  17. I was following a run of immortal hulk books that ended today and was surprised to see them go for 360. In April I bought mine for 220 shipped. That’s a pretty good jump in 2 months
  18. It doesn’t say on the inside I guess?
  19. It’s possible the seller had to retract the bids with that amount of time left. It could be for lots of reasons I had to do that earlier this month
  20. So yeah they definitely get back to earth though from looking at covers in preview, we won’t get more dr frye until #37. That comes out in September. as for what happens next, it’s pretty cool
