What kind of protection is there from getting ripped off?

Started Xmas shopping a month or so ago. I'm such a jackwagon...spent more on myself than I did on others. I really should narrow my focus on collecting. Right now, it's whatever catches my eye.

It's so strange how these covers are so similar. It's almost as if they were exact copies...

Just throwing this out there... I had a bunch of long boxes sitting up in my mom's garage since the 80's (central lower MI). Some of the bags still had a sticker with the name of the comic store that I bought them at. After she passed away recently, I had to clear them all out & bring them home. The majority of them suffered, but not that bad ... a few tics, nothing major. A lot of them, however, have been coming back from CGC as 9.8.

Saved 2 bucks! My niece will be happy.

Do these things work on auctions (as opposed to BINs) if they are paid for before the coupon expires?

I got a call from my nephew a day or so ago. He said he was talking to his dad about comics a while back (don't ask me why). Apparently, his dad remembers reading a Thor comic from his childhood involving Loki, a leaf, maybe tears ... it rings no bells with me. He said his dad said he thinks it's an old mystery book, I'm sure he's thinking of JIM. Anyway, my nephew said he'd like to pick this book up for his dad for Xmas. I told him I'd ask around and try to identify it for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Finally went to SFG today.

This has probably already been addressed, but I must've missed it... At the end of the trailer, we see Antman outside of Avengers Mansion, but he was trapped in the Quantum zone at the end of his own movie. Do we know how he got out?

I've used all 3 major companies (UPS, FedEx, and USPS). The only issues I've ever had were with USPS. Side note - having heard/read dozens of reports about drivers (from both FedEx and UPS) signing for packages themselves, I cannot believe that their bosses don't instruct them to do it.
