  1. Wouldn't it be easier just to fix the problem? I really don't understand why it was decided not to.
  2. I just wish they would have the decency to tell us that their not going to do a damn thing about it. Instead they dodge the issue or just outright ignore inquiries about it. Cowards.
  3. It sounds like TATs are at the top of your priority list. I'm afraid I can't join your club.
  4. Your next question should've been "How long have you guys been working on it?"
  5. It's be nice if you could leave neg feedback. I'm really not sure if you can do this, but I would hope that Ebay would allow us to warn other sellers of NPBs.
  6. Coincidence. Won 2 books...value of a little over $1000. Charged me $50 for shipping. Just sent them an email expressing my displeasure. I know it won't do any good, but it made me feel better.

    No Grader Notes

They didn't have a bunch of inept graders for 20 years.
  8. Not sure if I agree with this. Increase...yes. Double...doubt it. Regardless, I for one would be ok with it. With all the stories, by multitudes of trustworthy people, stating that their books received lower grades (sometimes way lower) than expected, it'd be nice to know why. CGC has, in the last couple of years, become completely comical in their grading ... actually in their entire business. Transparency/documentation for their grading would be most welcome.
  9. You'd think that if a 9.8 prescreen didn't have a single book pass that the grader (or someone) would think "Hmmm, something doesn't seem right". Also, they (CGC) seem to be quite fond of telling us that all packages are opened under cameras. Put those videos to good use @Ed Hanesand have them look at your packages being opened.
  10. Here's the CGC FedEx rates. What you paid CL was comparable if they totaled over $50k.
  11. @MattM CSCan you tell us what's going on with this? It's been years.
  12. When CGC receives your submission (way back when), they send you an email - something like "CGC Submission Acknowledgement". Your Submission number is in the attached pdf file.
  13. Curious.... why do you want CGC to do this, instead of removing it yourself?
  14. Here, and now here. "Today, CGC is the world's largest and most trusted third-party grading service..." not sure about that trusted part
  15. They've been saying that their working on it for going on 2 years now. You know, as well as I, they ain't doing jack about it.
  16. Not a knock on you, but why couldn't the press operator just adjust the press on his own?
