  1. Keyword = can but, "...which we did not have to do."
  2. <--- I think that's what the CGC employee was doing.
  3. These shards have been a problem for YEARS. Yes, YEARS! Did anybody at CGC ever say "Hey, let's find out where these shards are coming from and fix it"? How can CGC justify not fixing this problem years ago?
  4. Just keep in mind, each split results in another separate shipping charge.
  5. "They're considered normal and acceptable, but we'll reholder them on our dime for ya." What is this, Bizarro world?
  6. If CGC is adamant about going forward with this very bad decision, they should relax their equally bad rule of not being able to divert the shipment. Edit: Why does this company make so many bad decisions?
  7. After reading that thread by @Dr. Ballswhere the guy who backed out of the deal didn't even think he did anything wrong, I'm wondering if these Jackwagons on Ebay even know that they're Jackwagons.
  8. I don't think he was looking for data, simply opinions.
  9. Reading both previous posts ... must be that if notes are unavailable, the search doesn't count towards the limit?

  11. it depends on the age and value of the comic(s)
  12. Mr. Niceguy says they tried their hardest. Mr. Cynicalguy says they just said that to shut you up. Either way, they were unsuccessful.
  13. I wonder if it's the carrier's decision to do this? When I'm not home, I always get one of those little pink cards put in my box telling me I have a package at the PO.
  14. My membership expired last month. I celebrated the passing with 2 root beer floats.
  15. A couple of points... There is absolutely no way CGC would have made this decision unless it was going to put money in their pockets. I don't believe any consideration at all was given to what their customers want. Also, I think @Nic8612is correct. "They only REALLY care about their commercial customers at this point."
  16. Hmmm. I guess it's just up to you if you're feel good with this?I honestly don't know how I'd feel ... lucky that they're done so quick or unlucky that this just seems too weird. Did you have an idea of what kind of grades the books should receive?
  17. It's only been a few months. Give it some more time. This is a very complex and time consuming procedure.
  18. You better check your CC statement. I just read a post by another member who was overcharged by CGC because they, for some unknown reason, switched return shipping to USPS, even though he had requested FedEx.
  19. Also, according to what every CGC employee has said, the clock starts when the package is delivered to CGC, not when it's marked as received.
  20. I'm totally ignorant when it comes to BIN buying on other auction sites that have the books in hand. What kind of problems do buyers experience?
