  1. The odds of CGC getting this right have to be extremely low.
  2. I was very tempted by this amazing King Ghidora statue. Don’t think I could have snuck this by the wife.
  3. Yeah. Less pops (but still plenty) and shirts, but more weapons and Dungeons and Dragons stuff. And a ton of statues which I appreciate. But man, so many books.
  4. They don't catch it because they don't check every book.
  5. Holy carp. I've come a long way.
  6. Surprised at the final price on this one. Seems low. https://www.ebay.com/itm/225757942112
  7. That sounds terrible lol. Honestly I think in a lot of cities things can take a pretty drastic change in 5 blocks and which direction those blocks are in. Next year try get something right by the aquarium/fells point if you can (Pier 5 Hotel, Homewood Suites). A lot of the restaurants are right there anyway. We stayed at the Lord Baltimore hotel one year and it was a very nice hotel, but you had to make your way though some pretty big homeless sections.
  8. Honestly I think the restaurants are fairly priced for being in a city. Nothing more than I am used to anyway. And definitely a good variety. I'm not sure where you stayed, but we always stay close to the aquarium and have never felt unsafe fairly late at night. I will say one year we stayed a few blocks out from there and it wasn't exactly the best experience getting from the hotel to any place else. This is the least crowded I remember in the last several years. We always go in right at opening on Saturday and usually know we only have a few hours before the aisles get really crowded. Not this year. It never got very crowded. And cosplay seemed to be way down. Way less scantily clad ladies than I remember. Awesome you had a good time!!!
  9. Also, some people completely forget which booth they saw a particular book at and eventually give up.
  10. Yes sir. I would have had zero interest if it didn't to be honest.
  11. This was the best thing I saw all day. Dog dressed like a Jedi carrying a lightsaber in his mouth.
  12. And shout out to @shortboxed Always good conversation and an amazing wall to look at. And reasonably priced. He went out of his way to dig out a few books for me to look at.
  13. Had a great time. It definitely never seemed to get too crowded on Saturday, which seems unusual. Usually by 1-2 it starts to get hard to get around and dig into boxes. Will post pictures of my pick ups later. Did get a chance to catch up with @Murphman13 and picked up a nice book with a Frazetta internal work.
  14. I'll be on the hunt for low grade (like really low grade) Frazetta covers (Famous Funnies, Ghost Rider, etc)
  15. Its not bad. Just under 2 hours for me in South Jersey. And no traffic since we head out very early - will be on the road by 6am. Honestly I would drive a lot further for a show this good.
  16. Heading out early in the morning. Blue Moon Cafe for breakfast and then on to the show.
  17. Which is why the have such thorough QC to catch such errors......................
