    @CGC Mike I don't really expect an answer, but how can this possibly happen? How do things like this continue to happen in the first place and then not get caught by QC? I'm sure you can see why people think not all books go through QC and go directly from slabbing to a box.

    I was collecting new Vampirella for a bit. Started when they came out with the 50th anniversary series. But I'm officially out. I might pick up a cover or two that I like.

    The comic world has gone insane. This is one issue.

    I often think about this in the QC thread. Mike does an amazing job for people, but the vast majority of people who submit don't know about Mike. And the answer isn't just contact customer service. We see people who have been ignored for very large periods of time doing that.

    CGC will never admit it, but we know that every book is not going through QC.

    @CGC Mike Has CGC figured out the root cause of labels getting swapped? It seems like its a recurring problem which of course begs the question why can't they fix it. Obviously there is a QC issue for not catching the issue on the back end, but why does it keep happening?

    I want to say that at some point in the past I reached out to the museum about this guy to see if his stuff was legit. They knew him and thought everything was real.
