  1. I love the fact they are back at the ice rink. I plan on having fun at the show.
  2. Its slabbed with the other guys but I was second in line for Denny O-Neil to sign a Green Lantern book for me. It took a half hour because he was talking to the guy in front of me about an old plot line that didn't go through. His agent finally said he had more people to sign today. RIP Denny
  3. #'s 4 - 8 for the year. Normally at comic conventions I go to get sketches on a ever ongoing jam piece/ I make it a point to go to a convention that has a Scooby artist so my budget normally doesn't have room for comics. Last Sunday went to a smaller con was able to add a couple little spots to the jam and was able to pick these 5 books up. #4 Marvel Presents Alf A mini comic that seemed to reprint previous books. Fun stories about Alf's antics #5 Marvel Presents X-Men Another mini reprint that had classic Stan Lee -script featuring Blastar. #6 Marvel Presents Flintstones Kids I wonder if Marvel owns the old Star Comics line as Flintstones and Alf had been Star Comics on the 80's. #7 Action Comics #463 Overpaid for sure but the cover called to me. Always a sucker for stories that have a background in American Revolution. Superman gets sent back to 1776 and gains his memory back in time to save the Declaration of Independence from being stolen. #8 The Flintstones at New York World's Fair. A grail book I have wanted since I started collecting comics as a kid. Nice enough I might get it graded. The Flintstones make it to the 1964 World's Fair and the only downside is ot didn't happen in 1969 as the storyline had 99% of the Hannah Barbera characters in the mix. Highly recommend.
  4. Late to the game as usual, we will see. I enjoy seeing what others are reading, it lets you know what type of books are out there! I had to do screenshots from online as these three issues are currently with facilitators getting signed before their vacation at CGC. #1: Green Lantern #11 Going to be signed by Joe Giella & Signed/remarked by Joe Staton (Joe Staton was 14 that year and had a fan letter published in the book.) #2: Batman #190 Going to be signed by Joe Giella #3: Sonic the Hedgehog #57 Going to be signed and remarked by Jim Amash
  5. Oh no problem, I was just explaining how some of us get it done in one day. Albeit (at least pre covid) that also meant I was there Vip entry till closing then driving back same day. Very tiring but rewarding.
  6. While there are some artist like Joe Staton that I always add when available, I have from my original wish list started 7 years ago now 6 more artist for a Scooby example before I can say I'm done. #7 was knocked down thanks to an instagram commission. Cgc currently has this in their waiting to unpack area. Dario Brizuela Scooby & Harley
  7. It's all about planning for us 1 day con people. If you want a commission try preregistering with the artist or being the first one at their table, and knowing a list of facilitators/what shows they are going to. 9 times out of 10 I'll only do a con for 1 day. (Can't justify the hotel cost and most of my shows are small ones) Usually I luck out and there is a CGC facilitator there if I need to have a piece picked up next day after I leave.
  8. You mean the Alf that had the 500 dollar price tag from your first page of pictures?
  9. I would say if you have the opportunity then go for it. The past couple years, I missed out on a lot of bucket list individuals who have gone to the next great adventure a few by saying, next time. I also have a couple where some like Caroll Spinney signed on the last day ever doing signatures. Not to go off topic but you did mention Stan Lee. (This is my grail Stan Lee book not slabbed but it was his last private signing.)
  10. If anyone is going facilitator wise, I'd love to add Carla Perez to this.
  11. Thank you for the current perspective. My one Signature Series Economy still shows received. It was received on 12/09/21.
  12. Sweet Alice Cooper! He is on my bucket list.
  13. Adam Savage & Jamie Hyneman Please! It would be a dream to add Jamie to this!
  14. Previously privately signed by Peter Olstrum thanks to @Rich_Henn for adding David Seltzer at Chiller 2021. One day will add Scooby as Willy Wonka sketch.
  15. Ed Gale on Pizza the Hutt from Ed's last ever convention. Melissa Gilbert & Robert Constanzo on Batman Adventures.
  16. Thanks to @Rich_Henn for adding Ed Gale at his last ever convention appearance. Chiller 2021. Art by Len Danovich
  17. First off, thank you to @Rich_Henn for cgc facilitating. This was done at Baltimore Comic Con 2021. Joe Staton is my all time favorite Scooby artist and to me is one of the kindest guys out there. I gave Rich the Batman Adventures that I had gotten signed by Melissa Gilbert and Robert Constanzo at Chiller years ago and a blank Batman #0 with the goal of a Scooby cosplaying as Riddler and to get a riddler remark. Joe did a Joker remark and a Scooby as Joker sketch before realizing the mistake. I would have been ok with that accidents happen. Without asking Joe used his own sketch cover or somehow got a copy somewhere at the con and did the original requests. No extra charge for the mistakes. Like I said, my favorite artist and one that I will always support.
  18. Greg Woronchak Scooby cast as Power Rangers Scooby cast as Guardians of the Galaxy One day adding Steve Lydic colors.
  19. My grail book added to again. I bought this year's ago with Steve's on it. I added David Yost at a con with cgc present. The rest was all facilitators. Power Rangers: Steve Cardenas on 6/30/15 David Yost on 4/27/18 Amy Jo Johnson on 7/29/18 Karan Ashley on 8/5/18 Steve Lydic remark on 9/22/18 Jason David Frank on 9/22/18 Terrence Henry on 10/25/19 Richard Horvitz on 2/29/20 David Fielding on 11/20/20 Austin St. John on 11/20/20 Jason Narvy on 12/12/21 Paul Schrier on 12/12/21 I know there are 20 signed copies of this book, but I like to think mine is the most complete signature wise @CGC Comics is there a way to confirm?
  20. Nick Justus Christmas commission Scooby Doo as Scrooge Thanks to @Par2ch for facilitating.
  21. The Washington Post February 27, 1983 Only one in census signed by Loretta Swit at Chiller 2021 thanks to @Rich_Henn
