  1. Yeah, in older publications like The Great American Paperback, lots of books are erroneously attributed to Cantor. It’s great that these masterpieces are now being properly attributed, bunch after batch.
  2. Oh goodness, that’s horrible news!! What happened? Is he just moving on to a different phase of his life?? It’s one of the greatest resources ever for lovers of our graphic arts.

  6. You know there’s widespread appreciation for Ace’s and just about anything else, from Avon to Zenith. Either we’re just not that discriminating or paperbacks are just that cool.
  7. I looked at it twice, soaking in the cover art - that was just enough! I don’t really mind losing it, as I know it would have a good home with any of us.
  8. I was sorting through some books and had an inkling to share a few group shots, but the light now is horrible. There are scattered storms in the area today, and my kitchen light is a poor substitute for natural light. As I flipped through the stacks, I was reflecting on how fun it was to find so many of these in the wild. I wasn’t as picky about condition then - how could one be? - but I still managed to find some great books. I couldn’t afford to put together some of these boxes at today's a la carte prices; the shipping alone adds up quickly enough. Still, it remains a comparatively inexpensive hobby to get your fix of colorful artifacts compared to the alternatives of comics and now pulps.
