  1. Those are great volumes! I think that photo-rich format is definitely worth checking out, as the captions and smaller blurbs have a high density of valuable information. Plus, since comics are a visual medium, I don’t think text and lengthy narratives alone are the best format for learning about them. My anyway.
  2. Kirby is on the mountain alone. Ditko can at least catch a glimpse of him… Stan is down at base camp taking credit for the mountain.
  3. Just the right place at the right time I guess. I only need Bugs Finds the Lost Treasure now and one issue in the 200’s. Plus I have most of his own run from 28 on. I’m missing a few of the much later ones. It’ll fit right in with my first FC Andy Panda, Oswald the Rabbit, Bringing Up Father and a few others in very similar condition.
  4. Nobody that finds one in good shape is going to let it go for much less than a used car: it just depends on what sort of used car one’s used to.
  5. That's awesome! I don't think any of them are all that elusive, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time... When it comes to some of these 50's Dells, there are so many good values left out there, and as far as truly classic and well-crafted comics, the Bark's Uncles Scrooges are on a par with anything else, including EC's.
  6. Fantastic stuff! I love those comics strip puzzles and who can resist Scrappy on anything!
