    After adjusting for Porcupine’s change and new players..... 116 Players Mean: $1,049.06 Median: $1,000.95 Numbers appear to be falling. Half the players think the number is less than a grand and half say it is more.

    I hope the Dr does not mind me posting a few stats for those of us who are “number geeks”. As of 8am (est) there were 88 players. The average “guess” using the mean method is: $1,055.93. The average using the median method is: $1,069.37

    I think GPA is your best source of FMV. Off the top of my head $1,050 seems a little low. I would think $1,200 would be more in line. Obviously, with comics, there are numerous factors beyond simple CGC grade that can move the price up or down from another CGC copy with the same technical grade.

    Phil generously offered up a nice Pep 100 in the grading contest and I was lucky enough to receive it as my prize. Phil not only sent the book, but packaged it very securely and even covered the cost of postage. Phil is the kind of person that makes this community a great place to be.
