  1. Already up to $2,364 with over 7 days left. Quite a bit of Schill bidding. Also, it's missing a page. I think i'd avoid this one. Yeah, it does look like some brazen shill bidding. And what's with the seller not saying which page is missing? Makes a big difference whether or not it's from the Spidey story. Agreed. It makes a HUGE difference if it's a Spidery page. How can you not mention that? I just don't see how it can go for more than about 2,500 when 3,000 is the price of a cover less copy these days with no missing pages. Boy was I wrong. Almost hit $3,400! Makes me feel great about my .5 copy that I got for less than that. "Won" by a zero fb bidder. Agreed the whole auction was a complete mess with all those bidders with zero feedback!! Didn't realize it was bogus. Too bad. I wanted a clean read on the price. It was not bogus the seller has a very high rating and 100% positive feedback seems like the scum bags came out of the woodwork and messed up his legit auction. I have noticed a huge increase in bidders with zero feedback doing this as of late (I believe they hope to win then pay then just say there was nothing inside the package and get their money back and basically pay nothing for what they won....seems like a bunch of thieves working together.....or they simply do not pay and ruin peoples auctions for some unknown reason). They tried doing it to my auction that ended a few days back but I was prepared for them....I canceled their bids and blocked them even in the last 30 seconds of my auction I even reduced the final price by 25$ for the real winner because that type of bidder had pushed his bid up by that extra amount.....luckily for me the buyer knows this has been happening a lot on Ebay lately so he did not cancel his purchase that is the worst of all of this having to re list a book again then people no longer trust you as a seller and then you end up selling for less money because people no longer bid (that could be what these thieves hope to accomplish but who knows). And then the last option you have a guy that has multiple new accounts and uses them to make people think the auction is been shilled by bad buyers and then he wins the auctions at a much lower cost because no one wants to bid on such a auction. , you can cancel bids 30 seconds prior to auction end? Yes I had the proper screens open and did it very fast and blocked the bidder as well trying to ruin my auction.

  4. I have seen that ''MK'' written on a few other AF15's wonder who wrote that? Congrats on your AF15!! Michael Kors when he was young. And who would that be exactly?
  5. I have seen that ''MK'' written on a few other AF15's wonder who wrote that? Congrats on your AF15!!
  6. That AF #15 is king again? Boy how fickle the markets are these days! Not by much AF15 and SC4 are pretty darn close!! SC4 has certainly passed Hulk 1 this year (in lower to mid grades).
  7. This CGC 4.5 just sold for 15 266$!! Link: http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=660437
  8. Only way I could reasonably afford one, unfortunately! I still think I made out okay. No trimming, and I think it really does present well (at the risk of sounding cliche). That small amount of restoration is so minimal....congrats!!
  9. What grade is your personal copy if you don't mind me asking? Anyway you can check into that sale of the CGC 7.5 at 110 000$ and confirm it or deny it.....you seem to have all the proper contacts?
  10. This thread is about anything AF15 related so I posted some sale prices.....people who own a AF15 will be happy to see these record prices!!
  11. Seller says he sold it for 110 000$. This is the message I got threw Ebay. I had told him to put a better description to help him be able to sell his book. ''Thank you for the sound advice, I put it up with my iphone and was going to edit it this weekend. However it got sold a lot quicker than I anticipated, as I agreed to the offer of $110K''. This is what I sent him: I hope this is true because it would be a world record price for a 7.5!! Are you a member on collectors society? If so you should post it in the AF15 thread to help us collectors who follow sales of AF15's. Link: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9390100#Post9390100 If this is true then this is a new record high for a CGC 7.5!!
  12. I do not know about that a CGC 6.5 that had a lot of chipping on the front cover sold for 39 000$ on ComicLink just a few weeks ago. There are not a lot of ugly 6.5's I have only seen a few. The one I purchased is a very nice 6.5 and the ones I have seen here are also mostly all very nice as well.
  13. I believe AF15 still holds a lot of positive surprises for us in the future!! The value is only going to go up!! Spidey is KING!!
  14. The AF15 CGC 6.5 on ComicConnect just sold for 48 888$!! I am very glad I purchased mine about 6 months ago for 35 000$ (mine has a minor chip on the front and that is it....plus it has Off-White Pages the one that just sold has Cream to Off-White Pages)!! GO SPIDEY!!
  15. Here is a CGC 4.0 AF15 at only 956$ so far on Heritage Auctions with 6 days to go. Link: http://comics.ha.com/itm/silver-age-1956-1969-/superhero/amazing-fantasy-15-marvel-1962-cgc-vg-40-cream-to-off-white-pages/a/121624-12121.s?ic3=ViewItem-Auction-Archive-OtherAvailable-081514
  16. Sitting at $40811.00 GPA high shows $30000.00 - anyone know of a higher sale that wasn't reported to GPA? That GPA high sale was from October 2013. -J. I know that - I am wondering if there are any other sales that aren't reported to GPA or is that $30000.00 the high ground for a 6.5 No that is not a high ComicLink sold a 6.5 for 35 000$ (had minor chipping on the front cover) earlier this year and another for 39 000$ (had a lot of chipping on the front cover) a few weeks back. 18. It is no longer on Ebay it says no longer available.
  19. Maybe he will eventually add the best offer option!! How much do you think a 7.5 like that is worth in the current market place?
  20. I have not seen such a high grade AF15 for sale on Ebay for a long time...CGC 7.5 Off-White Pages!! Seller should at least put a image of the back cover and his description needs a lot of spicing up!!
