My goal for 2018 is to try to keep what I got in my little collection. Fight off temptation to unload the whole shebang for just one single monsta book. I fight this demon every feature Auction it seems.
Don't ever do it Chris. They are like your children... you would miss them and want them back. Only one book, no matter which one, would seem so unfullfilling wouldn't it?

I have sold very few ECs. For pure pleasure and awesomeness they are really about as good as it gets, right?
At one time I had a complete collection of ECs (all of them). When the Cochran books came out I sold them off for stuff that was not reprinted. I soon discovered that there is nothing like the originals so I put together a set of just the main mainstream titles. Due to a family emergency, I had to sell that collection. I am currently working on a third collection that I have no intention of selling. This will confirm that in my opinion, that they are the best comics ever produced, book for book.

Mine too Rick. Anything by Feldstein always rocks but that is a stand out.
Now, please don't post that cool VOH #18 you got from Pablo last night. One of my favorite Vault covers by Johnny Craig. I'll fill that hole one of these days.

Is it just me or does it seem that all GA books (especially pch) are just on fire here on the boards lately. No matter the book or the price, pretty much anything even semi cool is flying off to new homes.
I was watching Pablo's thread last night seeing multiple as fast as they were being posted. There was no time to even look at the book, price or read the description before there were two or three takers. I just gave up and looked at the recap later...Luckily, I'm pretty covered but I missed a great Vault of Horror on my want list. And ECs are really slow right now.

Lower spine split to staple, general wear including large dogears, touch of soiling in logo and word balloon FC, bit more
on upper inside cover and upper page 1. Nothing affecting art, page one is an editorial about shutting down the series.
Tight with white pages, great Jack Davis coverAsking $20

Muggsy Mouse 2
Well there's Muggsy with his badly caricturized native bearers on the cover, pretty racist by today's standards.
Spine roll, general wear, particularly along RH edge FC. Couple tears LH edge BC.
Still tight, offwhite pages.
$15 takes it.
take it

Kinda hard to remember what I got this year. Two of my favorite books I was able to upgrade and one I got to replace. The Superman of America contest ring.
I had one and foolishly sold it. Got GREAT money for it at the time but missed it. I was able to obtain another and am hanging on to it. One of the top premium rings. Was offered as a contest prize in one 1939 issue of Action comics. You couldn't send in for it you had to win it.

Wow, that little Fender looks 60's also. Kool!
'56 Got it at a flea market from a lady with a Fender Broadcaster I sadly no longer own. Sounds clear as a bell up to about 6 then it gets that "growl". I have even miked it on stage through a PA system a few times. My regular amp is a black face pre-CBS tube twin reverb.
