  1. I think the announcing of the hard deadline was to motivate people to act. Because that thing did not look like it was going to make it a week out. There was a TON of negative backlash on social media for this project....I believe they learned their lesson. There was also a Transformers Star Saber project and that easily made the goal.
  2. They could have extended it true. But before the end, they said there would be no extensions. Either back it or it gets killed. So props to them, if they were using that to motivate people, at least they kept their word. I would have lost respect for the Haslab team if they extended it based on that. I believe Hasbro didn't know about the new rancor. It's clear Disney is not taking any chances with any leaks and that involved the toy teams and definitely the factories. Kudos for them for putting the storylines and media first, rather than trying to make a buck off the merch.
  3. Vigilante is the draw of the show for me. Is it just me or is his costume way more badd@ss than the comics could ever envision? Not sure but the proportions, accents and mask are definite improvements.
  4. Im in agreement with you. Loved E2, 5, 6 and most of 7. If they didn't kill the Tuskens just to advance the plot, they could've came in as the cavalry at the end. Which wouldve been a total mark out moment.
  5. It was killed because the price point was way too high $350, IIRC. Also, the tier incentive system was flat out insulting. They offered things like a bunch of bones/skulls, a recarded Gamorrean Guard (which had to be clearanced at Target before it disappeared), a diorama (which was nothing more than a cardboard backdrop), and a new uncarded Luke Jedi figure, which will probably be released anyway. This was an utter fail on Hasbro's part and I hope their hubris teaches them a lesson in offering real value. People are not going to pony up premium prices for lackluster items.
  6. I was thinking that too as it started jumping around the buildings. Really poor planning on the part of Hasbro. And the awful tier system they implemented.
  7. I like the fact there was a definitive winner in the standoff. And also that there was no deus ex machina, where someone swoops in to save Fett. But yeah, I can't see them killing off Bane.... he's just too good of a character to only use for two live action episodes.
  8. I liked it. Just went along for the ride and enjoyed it. I liked that referenced the history between fett and bane.
