  1. thank you in advance. some foxing on back cover, more evident on inside cover. also surface wear on front cover and a light fold, upper left corner
  2. I haven't watched this since it came out but I always felt there was no real story behind it. But each action scene is very well done and pretty to look at it. You're right, this is the kind of movie that plays in the background of a nightclub and you can just watch it with no sound.
  3. I had no interest in America Chavez before the movie, during the comic run up and now even after seeing the movie. I hope Kamala and Riri don't faceplant as bad as America does.
  4. Too bad. Modok and Hit Monkey were both very good and it filled a niche that Disney Plus doesn't. I would be ok with this if they bring over live action Hit Monkey and Modok, but doesn't seem likely.
  5. In the 1.0 range. agree with above poster, would not get graded.
  6. 4.0 to 5.0. depends if that is a spine split on the bottom left corner.
  7. probably not in line with the rest of the opinions here but I'll say 3.5 to 4.0. they may bring the hammer on that back stain. even without the stain, theres way too much softness and wear to the front to be past a 5.0. again, i may be an outlier here.
  8. 6.0ish. might bump up half a grade if it flattens out better with some improved gloss. nice book.
  9. 4.0ish. they are gonna nail it for the foxing.
  10. 2.0 to 3.0 no major flaws from what i can see other than the writing (which is not a deal killer to me). nice book.
  11. 7.0 to 7.5. they'll ding you for the soft corner bottom right.
  12. at best 5.0. sub crease throughout book and stain on pages.
  13. I remember when I saw the first Dr. Strange I was thinking I should've seen it in 3D; I made sure I saw it in 3D this time. I may go and see DR2 again in 3D. It is definitely worth it for certain parts of the movie.
  14. I watched the movie in 4DX so the music fight scene and travelling through dimensions was worth the price of admission just for that. My showing also had the Top Gun trailer and with 4DX, the seat movement and effects were far more distracting than anything positive. I can't imaging watching 2 hours of that.
  15. I was distracted by this scene as it was going on. Since when does Dr. Strange know hand to hand combat? I don't remember him being proficient in any combat style in movies or comics; in this movie, he's doing leg sweeps and jumping up walls Yeah, they even went so far as to make Rintrah Marvel Legends build a figure. He maybe had one line of dialogue and was barely a factor.
  16. If they ever bring her back in as a hero again, it's a massive cop-out and renders this whole movie pointless. That being said, I wish there was some what they could retcon Taskmaster and bring HIM back as the character he's supposed to be. If anyone deserves a do-over it's TM. Such a wasted opportunity.
  17. Top 5 (in no particular order): Spiderman 2 (Raimi) Enter the Spiderverse Civil War (I never get tired of the airport battle scene) Avengers Endgame Logan
  18. I wouldn't say it was underwhelming and it was nowhere near as bad as BW with that awful Taskmaster reveal. I think it lived up to hype; it's just a different genre than Marvel does (horror).
  19. Timecrimes Maybe the best and most novel take on time travel. I'd also recommend Colossal, which is by the same director Nacho Vigalondo.
  20. I didn't think about it from that angle. I guess two hearts but three personalities led to the imbalance.
