  1. giant size xmen 1 9.2 take pending scan
  2. 6.0-6.5 they're going to blast you for the top cover staining and back foxing.
  3. 7.0. They are going to hammer the grade due to the dog ear upper right corner, back spine creases, front cover right creases and spine ticks. With a press, maybe 7.5
  4. actually i only read the comic in the last few years. i wasn't into collecting comics when this originally came out, but i probably would have been into it. you're right though; your age when you originally read the source material plays a role in how you interpret it. 20 years ago comic book movies were very different in their adaptations.
  5. I loved the comic, but even I have to admit it's kinda slow. Something is lacking in this show, haven't been able to put my finger on it.
  6. for my own sake, what do you all think the grade would be with a spine split versus without? assume this is with the corner crunch and no other defects. wondering the impact on a small spine split.
  7. 8.5. there's numerous small CPB tics on front, soft corners on front and a major dog ear on the back. wouldn't grade.
  8. 8.5. soft bottom left corner and creases on back cover corners.
  9. There's a new wave of Marvel multipacks that came out last week. 7 for $10 packs. Includes two 3 packs and one loose comic between them. Seems to be older 3 packs from what I can tell. Front of the packs have Aliens 1, Ultraman 1, and Xmen; among others. Bought a couple aliens and one ultraman pack, nothing of any significance in them. YMMV
  10. I have some of those plastic shelves but do not recommend them since they will definitely bow. The metal shelves from Target are better since they do not bend no matter the weight.
  11. care to giv care to give some examples of raw stuff, grade and realized price? I'm curious as sell through. I've used ShortBox for slabs and have been pretty happy with the results. They pay for the shipping and I like getting checks vs. paypal.
  12. I use this exact same shelf (from Target) but only have short boxes. I have the same problem as you where it's not easy to move boxes around since the grill catches the box and it doesn't slide easy.
  13. I would also second this. Have been selling a few on SB and it's been a great experience. Also, they pay for the shipping to the customer.
  14. Please do share your results here. I am curious what the experience at MCS is like. I may consider selling there.
