  1. But at least the fanboys got their Palpatine fix.
  2. Not much introduction needed here - ASM 122, death of the Green Goblin. A timeless classic. Necessities: Payment: In addition to PayPal, I will also accept check/money order/Zelle, though the book will be held until clearance. Payment due within 10 business days. Shipping (domestic): USPS insured priority, medium flat rate box. Shipping cost is included in the book's price. International Shipping - at cost, minus the domestic shipping cost. Please inquire first for accurate pricing. Returns: No returns on CGC graded books unless I make an error in the listing or fail to disclose a problem. If by chance the USPS goes above and beyond to defeat my packaging and the slab is damaged in transit, prior to doing ANYTHING ELSE, save all the packing material and contact me. USPS regulations have been beefed up to require the packing material being available for inspection (pictures suffice based on experience) in order to file a proper insurance claim. On the HoS? Don't bother. Probation list? Message me first and we'll talk about your situation, but don't be overly optimistic. Can provide board references if needed (no name dropping here), and nearing 1700 positive eBay feedback as well -- https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=792mn First wins outright, offers by PM always welcome.
  3. A successful Matt to Matt transfer of some Byrne era X-Men readers, could not have gone any smoother
  4. Keith and I matched up on a 6.5 Batman 227 -- great price, great book, fast & secure shipping
  5. Everybody my age has a kudos thread, its the coolest! Anyway, if we've transacted in the past, and you were pleased with the result, please leave a few kind words. (And if you weren't happy, pm me and let's try to fix it... )
  6. Good lord yes. What possessed Lucas to think that anything he did to mangle ROTJ was even remotely a good idea?
  7. I see several insider “sales” on DIS in December. One 86% = one share “award”???
  8. These are all superb, I recommend that all future movie posters only be made in Ghana.
  9. Heck, a billion dollar box office should be considered a disappointment. For the concept of Star Wars: Episode IX that is, not the mindless tripe that is Rise of Skywalker, for which a billion actually is an accomplishment. TFA left the franchise in a spot where Episode VIII should have taken one look at TFA's box office and said "Hold my beer and watch this." But once Rian Johnson epically screwed that up, and Solo subsequently bombed, Disney restarted in safe mode to protect the brand as best they could.
  10. The guy who listed this Becumca gem has a...unique...perspective on the value of his items. I seem to recall he wanted six figures for a 3.0 ASM #1 that he swore was nicer than a 9.4 and had a completely fabricated back story of how it was printed prior to AF 15, complete with photoshopped CGC label saying as much. IMHO, anyone paying his prices does not deserve to have money.
  11. Had this -script actually been followed, I would certainly hope that they would have toned down the hokier aspects of this particular scene by the final cut, but I really like the concept of someone finally striking the balance between dark & light. What might have been.
  12. This we should all agree on, the Simpsons hasn't been funny since about 2002. While I'd agree that throwing class warfare into Star Wars was completely unnecessary, I'd still rather they try to break new ground than just rework some greatest hits and try to disguise them as new material.
  13. As opposed to the entirety of Rise of Skywalker being a dumb cartoon?
  14. Why was Trevorrow’s attempt to make IX good completely ignored? I’m not too familiar with all the behind the scenes nonsense.
  15. Has he been re-banned yet? I couldn’t subject myself to all those PMs.
  16. GSX 1 doesn’t feature an appearance by Carnage. Ergo...drek.
  17. Which is a shame. TLJ was at least well premised, the execution was just abysmal. ROS was slapped together from the vantage point of “We give up. Here, watch these shiny objects from the ‘80s that we hastily threw together, and give us some money.”
