  1. eBay should certainly be reimbursed the $4600 that they fronted the perp. The book is an interesting question though -- since @awakeintheashes is technically whole in terms of the sale price, would a judge consider the perp as having paid for the book in full and let him keep it, despite the crimes he clearly committed? The lawyers can lawyer that out.
  2. Holy , eBay used their brains!! Great to hear you aren't out the cash.
  3. I should also say I use the Boards too. Only problem I've ever had selling here was a newbie backing out of a deal prior to paying.
  4. This. When talking about eBay, unless they're going to start acting as an intermediary to receive, verify, then ship to sellers, they'll be able to keep claiming ignorance on any issue, thereby leaving sellers wide open to be scammed. All I use eBay for now is excess clutter from around the house and cheap comics. Anything even remotely valuable goes to ComicLink or my trusted dealers when I see them at shows.
  5. Could you imagine what would happen if reputable establishments actually accepted PayPal? "I'm sorry this beer was not to my satisfaction, here are your 6 empty cans back." "Those tacos gave me heartburn, I'd like a refund." "Three months later this house sprung a leak in the downstairs bathroom. This was not disclosed in the MLS, I'm returning this property for a full refund." Scary is that PayPal would probably rule in their favor too.
  6. Just reiterating the offender's eBay ID. @zeezee - would probably help to post a synopsis in the eBay blocked thread in Comics General too (if you haven't already).
  7. Indeed. Memory fail. Head hung in shame.
  8. Oh @BITCOINSWAMI, we hardly knew ye...
  9. Wonder what those things are selling for a year later.
  10. Today’s (Season 31) episode - (same age as always) Todd Flanders blames God for his mother’s death. Which happened in Season 11. 19 years ago. Please. Stop.
  11. Alex, I'll take "Nonsensical Assertions" for $400.
  12. Now let's backtrack for continuity's sake -- Wolverine #40, this one signed by Joe Rubinstein on 5/30/2015. -$70-
  13. We skip a page in the Book of Armaments and move ahead to Wolverine 45. Signed by Larry Hama on 4/28/2013. -$65-
  14. Let's add a few Larry Hama Signature Series books... First up is Wolverine 38. Signed by Mr. Hama on 10/10/2015. -$75-
  15. Don’t worry, he’ll probably cancel the law degree he bought on eBay too.
  16. X-Men 25, part of Fatal Attractions. My most hated of X-Men comics as Wolverine got done dirty. Call this one a 7.0 due to spine stress and small creases to the upper and lower right corners of the front cover. -$5-
  17. Wolverine Limited Series TPB. I believe this is the 2nd print, its dated 1987. Reprints all 4 issues of the monumental Wolverine Limited Series. About an 8.0. This will be shipped media mail as it contains no advertisements. -$8-
  18. Special Edition X-Men #1. Offered here because it reprints the historic Giant Size X-Men #1. Don't crack that slab to read the book, buy this one instead! Probably about a 6.5, but condition isn't the selling point on this one. -$6-
