    I’m good with Netflix and HBO as far as all the older stuff they have. I plan to watch Breaking Bad and Black Mirror all the way through again on Netflix and Band of Brothers on HBO. Lots of series on both I would love to revisit. But I’m with you on new content. Not exciting at all. I may cancel HBO soon. I get Netflix through T-Mobile so thats not going away. I also pay for AMC+ through AppleTV which is $8.99 and includes IFC and Shudder.

    Actually you rented it on Disney+. If you ever decide to not renew your subscription, its all gone. Now if you buy it on iTunes or Amazon in two weeks for $19.99 you do in fact own it. I do want to see this but I’ll wait just a bit longer.

    On average, a PG movie will double or triple the box office take over an R rating. SS never had a chance against BW at the BO. Deadpool was pre-COVID as well. Honestly, I would have skipped this movie if Will Smith reprised his role. Idris Elba is actually an actor and I was on board right away with his casting. Whether this movie bombs or succeeds financially doesn’t affect me. I’ve got nothing riding on it. I had a good time with it.

    It is what it is. If you think COVID has no effect on this movies box office or movies in general, cool. There’s also a reason studios fight for that PG13. I commend them for throwing dollars to the wind in favor of a hard R.

    R rated flick during COVID with simultaneous release on streaming. Still a critical success that will do well with Blu-ray/iTunes/Amazon purchases once it leaves HBO.

    I’ll give it to Marvel the day they make a movie with some guy getting killed while hanging hog.

    I don’t care what Scarlett or Disney are worth. If a contract was not honored action should be taken. Whether you’re working in Hollywood or working in fast food. She shouldn’t let it go if they breached her contract. (I don’t know that they did, I’m sure Disney invented fine print). But the moment you let someone roll over on you, that sets a bad precedent.

    If I recall, I believe Gunn dressed as a priest and posed for pics with his friends who were adult women dressed as little girls. I’m not judging, I’ve told more distasteful jokes than that.

    Polka Dot man was my favorite. Cena always comes off as bland/generic to me. Dave Bautista should have been Peacemaker.

    Strangely I didn’t like this as much as the critics but.. The ending was cool. Blood Sport and Polka Dot man were very cool. The soundtrack was Fonzie cool. That is all.

    In what world would you subscribe to a streaming service and then have to pay for individual movies? Oh, in Disney’s world. Well Suicide Squad is available at no additional cost if you subscribe to HBOMAX. If you don’t want the service, then sign up for a weeks free trial, binge watch everything and cancel.

    Based on the trailers, I’m not getting how this is one of the highest rated superhero movies ever. RT has it better than The Dark Knight? I’m usually disappointed when movies are hyped like this but I’m now less skeptical and more excited about watching it tomorrow.

    Yup, in a movie not titled Batman. I haven’t even heard much lately about the actual Batman movie. The know, The Batman. I mean, I’m not complaining, I can’t wait to see The Batmen (co-starring The Flash). I just wish they would give us the Supermen too with a CGI Christopher Reeves.
