    What’s considered a flop though? Movie sucks for fans yet huge box office success? Movie is great but bombs at the box office? I judge all films by the content with no regard to what it cost to make or what it brings in. The financials are interesting to many and I’m not knocking those discussions but I’m the same way I was in the 80’s. When watching Jaws or Raiders in the theater, never once did I wonder how much it cost to make those movies. Or if they did well in China.

    Funny that this movie premieres on HBOMAX along with the theatrical release but only if you are paying for the Ad-Free plan at $15. I suspect no one will want to watch this on the small screen anyway.

    Sweet. It’s still only around 15 minutes longer than Casino Royale and that movie didn’t seem long at all.

    I may be the only one that was crazy enough to pay over a grand for some of those Maxx test prints some years back. I still think they are very cool, but these current asking prices are just fishing for a good offer. $16,800? I can buy two Maxx covers by Sam for that. And I’ll take original art over printed books no matter how rare the book is any day.

    So unlike the physical release, I get Justice is Gray included when I buy the 4K digital copy. I’ll just wait until its released in the US iTunes Store then. Shouldn’t be too long.

    The trailer could have been Neo folding his laundry and I would still reluctantly go to the theater to watch. That said, I was expecting the first trailer to blow me away by showing me some effects or tech that have never been done before. They broke new ground in the original movies. Nothing made me want to rewind and watch again. That’s a trailer fail. I’m not judging the movie based off the trailer as we know some of the worst movies have great trailers and vice versa.

    Bana is great actor. Black Hawk Down, Troy, Munich, etc. And the CGI Hulk was fantastic, just over the top and right from the comics. My favorite version to date. I can rewatch that desert escape scene with him super jumping into the sky and I’m a kid in the 80’s again reading Hulk comics in the back yard. But the movie just didn’t work. Perfect casting with the wrong director/writer.

    Where did that come from? What genius thinks an R rated movie will outperform a PG Marvel movie right now? Nice little “what I like is better than what you like” jab. The adults in the room really don’t care. Though I’m sure we are all eager to go rewatch both of those movies soon.

    Well.. Snipes didn’t “create the superhero world that we’re in” but I’d agree he definitely kicked it off for Marvel. X-men came soon after. I may have rewatched Blade more than any Avengers movie.

    Iron Fist was a strange animal. Wasn’t really into it, didn’t really enjoy it and yet somehow it kept me coming back to see how it would turn out.

    If you have T-Mobile, they are giving out one year of AppleTV+ for free under a Magenta plan. And of course if you buy a new iPhone or iPad you will get another free year. But I would just wait until you have something binge worthy and pay the $4.99 for one month and then cancel.

    They don’t put out a lot but there’s definitely quality over quantity. The only reason I have AppleTV+ is because its part of a bundle plan I have. One thing I’m really looking forward to is Masters of the Air. That’s the third in the series that started with Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

    A few minutes of viewing this has me intrigued enough to save it and watch the hour tonight. Love 70’s/80’s animation like Watership Down and Secret of Nihm.

    Wow, Ryan Reynolds really showing his acting range here. Not similar to any character he’s ever played before. But seriously, the best role he’s ever had: Life.

    This film has just been bleeding money sitting on the shelf. Doubtful they will break even now. Which is kinda sad since I have a feeling this will be the best Craig Bond movie since Casino.

    CinemaScore, really? Do I need to break down a list of their “A” movies? And I’ll take Metacritic over RT. I’m not saying I’m not excited to see this movie but those sites don’t hold much influence for me.
