A better story would be the mayor was drunk at a strip club playing Truth or Dare and he was dared to have a Robocop statue erected. See what I did there? That’s a story.

    I liked the first Star Trek reboot he did. Despite the maddening lens flares, I think it was well done as a lifelong Trek fan.

    Normally I don’t buy into the black and white versions of movies when they try for a gritty stylized look. They simply flip the film without a second thought. But talking about Logan Noir in another thread had me thinking Zack won’t take the easy route either. Logan Noir was re-graded for every single shot. It looks so good in fact that I can never watch the colorized version again.

    It’s only one of the top three best movies bearing the Marvel stamp. And the noir version is incredible.

    That is a major disappointment and possibly a major misstep. It can still be a good movie and may tie in better with the MCU but it better be on another level to win over fans of the originals.

    They may be waiting to see if China reopens their theaters in July. Got to squeeze every cent out of this. Screw Disney+ subscribers. And if it does eventually make it to the streaming platform- $30 rental!

    The great news about his other project Army of the Dead is that Netflix gave him creative control so I’m hoping we get a worthy follow-up to his Dawn of the Dead.

    That’s a word I’ve seen used quite often to describe the fans who wanted the ZS cut. “Toxic fans.” Yes, we are the ones who are toxic. If it was discovered that there was an alternate cut of Age of Ultron you better believe Marvel fans (and myself) would petition to see it. Nothing against those who actually loved Age of Ultron.

    That’s funny, as I mentioned before I’m traveling for work and will have to watch JL on my iPad. With its 4:3 aspect ratio! So JL will be full screen with no black bars on top or bottom. And my guess is that Green Lantern will be the cameo doing something huge like palming the entire planet.

    That’s pretty cool, so this is the original theatrical release as reviewed by E & S and for whatever reason the audio was omitted for home release. If that’s the case, I’m sure it’s not limited to just those two scenes. I wonder what else was changed.

    Watched it again yesterday from my iTunes library and no chatter and no scream from falling tank. Did this movie get the Lucas treatment with some added stuff?

    That’s right! I remember now. What an absolute waste. Instead we get the Skrulls in that turd of a movie Captain Marvel. And Marvel makes very few turds. Such a shame how the X-Men got the shaft for it. I’ll drown my sorrow in Days of Future Past tomorrow. Rogue Cut. A far superior movie over Captain Monotone.
