    It was great but The Dark Knight is still king of the hill. Not only the best DC movie but the best comic book movie ever made. Joker would have fit right in with the Nolanverse.

    I find it strange that Snyder said he had never watched the theatrical cut of Justice League. Don’t you think he would be curious? Above he says 80% of the VFX has never been seen but how does he know if he hasn’t watched it. Maybe he just read Whedons -script?

    And I kid about Godfather Coda. As minor as the changes were I do believe this version presents better. A scene in the middle of the movie was moved to the beginning and the final scene was replaced. It’s still the same movie. It’s not like Schwarzenegger is added killing Tom Hagen.

    Yes, sadly I own them all as well. But I bought my last version on iTunes, Apocalypse Now unrated Final cut. I think (hope) they are done. Check out this purchase history over a 30 year span: Aliens VHS - Aliens Laserdisc - Aliens Special Edition VHS - Aliens Special Edition DVD - Aliens Special Edition iTunes digital copy - and finally Aliens Special Edition Blu-ray. And yes I’ll get it again when released on 4K Blu-ray. James Cameron owes me dinner and drinks.

    I just assumed this would be an unrated cut since it’s streaming and he pretty much has carte blanch. And I don’t like the new title, it’s not a directors cut it’s the Snyder Cut! Ha, I know, but directors cuts are usually associated with cash grabs for the home release where they add or change 10 minutes. FU Godfather Coda!

    As for the motions and language, I was confused at first, because you had inverted interacting with “normals” earlier but when Kat was on deck with her husband, they both appear to move forward in time together normally because she went through the turnstile and was no longer inverted. No mask required either. She inverted to get there and then “un-inverted?”

    Simply amazing. Mind blown. I can’t wait to watch it a second time. And a third. Watched it on iTunes and dialogue was clear as a bell. I guess the sound issues were related to the theater.

    Why are DC fans disgruntled? I’m a DC fan and I can’t wait to watch BW on Disney+. I’ve said this very early on in this thread. Not everything has to be a childish Marvel VS DC debate. If someone doesn’t like the movie you like it’s really ok. I’ve expressed my dislike of Marvel and DC movies and moved on. But if someone constantly trolls the movie in its own thread well hey that’s fine too as it says more about that persons level of maturity. Easy to dismiss at that point. As for the theater, I would probably see BW there, will wait on a few reviews. But guaranteed theater trips will be for No Time to Die, Dune and MI:7. Maybe Top Gun and Matrix 4.

    I’m not going to be able to watch this scene the same way again. I usually hate fan edits but this fits quite nicely. They said it’s from Kick-Azz but it was originally used in 28 Days Later.

    With new strains to contend with, I’m just hoping we can get it under control by next Christmas.

    Many theaters are selling tickets by the seat number now and if they don’t they should consider it since they can sell seats with separation. I’ll go to the theater tomorrow with a mask if my seat is 4 or 5 seats away from the next person. It’s going to be the theaters reassuring us that everything is disinfected after every showing (we should see a decon team marching in as we leave the theater. But it’s all really going to boil down to plain old timing. This summer will be interesting because the theaters in China are open now and ripe for a Hollywood blockbuster.

    As I said before, if BW made 10 billion dollars worldwide, it wouldn’t even be close to saving the theater industry. It will take a major effort of hundreds of quality films timed precisely as half of the population of the United States doesn’t care about Marvel or DC movies.

    I just finished it. Was intrigued for the first 30 minutes and then the writing went off the rails. Like a child wrote it. I looked into it and John Landis’s son wrote the story and after accusations of sexual misconduct, the director Roseanne Liang did a rewrite. Don’t know if the original version was any better but we will never know.

    If anyone follows Sam’s blog http://samkieth.blogspot.com it’s nice to see he’s still doing Maxx covers even though it’s unclear what he wants to do with them. I’d be happy with another art book containing all his latest unpublished covers.

    This movie looks ridiculous but my daughter really wanted to see it. Couldn’t find it on any streaming service so I bit the bullet and sent it to her through iTunes. Was still cheaper than Mulan. I should have waited as it will probably pop up on HBO or Netflix before long.

    I’m looking forward to Gunn’s take on the Squad, the first one was very forgettable.

    Playing this on my iPad now with Xbox controller. it’s impressive so far. I’m going to start KOTOR2 after this as it was just released in the App Store.
