    These are not your average paramedics. I have dumbed it down a bit. To get their position here, they require a paramedic certification along with other requirements including a military background in the medical field and combat tours. There are other certifications required by DOS as well. The vaccine was offered to us but not mandatory without FDA approval which is years away. Anyway, I plan to get it, but I’m not in a hurry. I’m never in a rush to put something in my body that was created in such a short amount of time.

    Reminds me of how excited I was to learn they were finally adapting one of my favorite comics into a movie. Whiteout. In my mind I pictured someone like Janeane Garofalo playing Carrie Steko and who do they cast? Kate Beckinsale.

    The vaccine was offered to all us here at work and 90% of our paramedics declined it. I’m not in the medical field but it gave me pause. It’s most likely fine and I’ve been injected with so much frap before deployments in the military, what’s one more? I’ll get it eventually, when the vaccine reaches a year of study and circulation. Just waiting a few months has seen changes like the single dose now instead of double.

    Me too, the character got a lot of flak as the baddie in CA but I appreciated him. Great scene with him and BP at the end. I mean it wasn’t a Tears in the Rain scene but it was good.

    The trolls here must be salivating in hopes that this movie will suck. They already have their responses written and ready for that cut and paste. CanadianChaos or whatever his name is has his meme folder standing by since he has nothing of substance to actually add. But I’m prepared. Not against the trolls, that’s not worth my time. I’m prepared to not like this. That’s just reality, I don’t blindly love everything Snyder puts out. Out of the seven films released that he’s directed, I loved 300, Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen and Man of Steel. I didn’t see the owl movie and I don’t count Justice League as his release. Yet. But I’m hoping for the best. But I’ll join the trolls if it fails. Kidding. But I will.

    I’m down for masks and distancing but I turned down the vaccine when it was offered to all of us here at work. It’s most likely fine but no one can say if there will be any negative long term effects. Plus you can still get COVID after vaccination just like you can catch the flu after vaccination and we still don’t have that one down.     Despite so many turds SciFi channel has put out, I actually loved this first episode. I’m down for the whole season.

    Sure. This scene up until Superman enters. I could watch an entire Elseworlds movie based on Batman in this apocalyptic desert setting battling demons with his merc army. And of course this scene which is the best Batman fight ever filmed including all the fights in the Nolan Trilogy. And then this scene which most viewers would dismiss but has made an impact on me.

    Not going to disagree with you but I hope you’re wrong. I certainly believe it will be better than the release we got. The question is how much better? And there is definitely not blips of new footage. There’s enough unseen footage to create another hour and a half film. So we are getting a new animal. Snyder could have spent most of 2021 editing and working on the SFX but he’s dropping it now completely aware of the expectations out there. I believe he’s confident this will wow his fans. If you loved Watchmen, Man of Steel and BVS, this will not disappoint. For me, BVS had three short moments of absolute comic book bliss and the rest of it was luke warm but passable.

    And if they get a poor turnout, they will probably drop it for home release right after. I won’t see it in theaters. And I won’t rent or “early unlock” it for $30 on Disney+ but I’ll BUY it for $20 when it reaches that price point. May have to wait a month or two later but with all the streaming options, I’m good with that. No Time to Die and Dune are the only must-see in theaters for me this year. Maybe MI:7 and Matrix 4.
