    I just realized something. The Bat tank was there the whole time?! And wasn’t used?!

    It’s about time! As much as I love Arnold, The Running Man movie was garbage. It wasn’t even close to the novel. And that ending was one of the most powerful endings I’ve ever read right up to the very last sentence. I was completely blown away. Wide eyed and smiling on the last page.

    Watched the first episode and thought it was terrible and forced. Based on her personality from the novels and the one film, SOTL, this is not even the same character. And I know the excuse for her altered personality will be PTSD but that would not affect her resolve or traits in the way she is portrayed now. They focused on getting her to sound like Starling but she is anything but. I’ll give one more episode a shot though.

    Dark Knight Returns would have to be a one shot deal away from any DCEU that may be planned. And this guy would be perfect!

    I don’t know, Snyder has stated he wants to do a live adaptation of DKR and that it’s his dream project. He just needs a few green lights from DC and whatever studio is interested.

    I’ll be cancelling my HBOMAX next month after JL and Godzilla. I believe all those big upcoming HBO movies premiere exclusively there for a short while and then will be made available for rental on sites like Amazon and iTunes and then finally purchase. I would purchase JL unseen at this point. Just to see five minutes of the Bat-tank rolling through the apocalyptic Knightmare world.

    The ending of the novel was extremely controversial and so surreal it may not have translated well on film. I was literally stunned reading the final chapter. But Harris gave Ridley Scott permission to change the ending and I can’t fault them. After further consideration, I think this new ending worked better on film. I just wish Jodie Foster was available though Moore did a great job channeling her.

    Did you read Hannibal? They changed the ending in the movie. I think I would have been fine with the movie had I not read the book.

    I’m more impressed than I thought I would be. Here’s hoping for an hour of Knightmare. Had we received this version or something close to it in 2017, the DCEU would be on a different path today.

    First OMG moment for me. 😮 I hope this is in the Knightmare sequence. I’ve said it before, just give me an entire Elseworlds movie with Batman and his merc army navigating the Knightmare world and battling demons with Joker on the loose.

    Interesting article. I’m still not open to taking “any” vaccine. I decline the flu vaccine offered at my job every year. I have caught the flu once every decade. I do plan on getting the Covid vaccine by the end of the year. No hurry.

    Ok I need to stop watching teasers for a trailer. Imagine how much jaw drop you would have during the full trailer had we not seen these last few scenes.

    Not laughable at all, she does have her rights. Just as Disney or pretty much any employer has the right to fire you. James Gunn made some interesting tweets and got fired by Disney. Where’s he working now? Disney. Depends on what you bring to the table and how much you can put in Disney’s pocket.

    I have a 4K projector at home with 7 Bose speakers perfect for an occasion like this and yet circumstances will force me to watch JL on my 12.9 inch iPad Pro screen. At least the sound will be decent through my Bose headphones.

    Hard to find news without bias. I’ve been getting most of my news through the AP via an app on my phone. I want the facts without the commentary. I don’t watch news on tv unless there’s an event and then I surf between several stations left and right.
