Rusted staples w/rust migration at lower staple, edge/corner wear with folds/creases, minor to moderate spine wear, moderate to severe foxing/dust shadows on front and rear covers.

    5.0 VERY GOOD/FINE (VG/FN):  Back to Top
An above-average but well used comic book. An accumulation of bindery/printing defects is allowed. Minor to moderate cover wear apparent, with minor to moderate creases and/or dimples. Inks have moderate to low reflectivity. Blunted corners are increasingly common, as is minor to moderate staining, discoloration, and/or foxing. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. A minor to moderate spine roll is allowed. A spine split of up to 1/2" may be present. Staples may show minor discoloration. Minor staple tears and minor stress lines may also be present, as well as minor rust migration. Paper is tan to brown with no signs of brittleness. Centerfold may be loose. Minor interior tears may also be present.

Thanks a lot! Would a clean and a press help at all?

What’s manga have to do with this comic?

Just included the reference to how the current landscape is regarding comics, notwithstanding the recent Punisher debacle lol  CGC needs to hurry and encapsulate manga, too lol ~

Isom 2 campaign starts next month and they just announced that Chuck Dixon wrote Alphacore 1 that will be released in the fall. The next book will be announced on the 29th and I believe it’s set to be released in winter.

    Utterly brilliant lol:x

  3. Given that CGC currently encapsulates video games and VHS tapes, I was curious whether CGC has plans for manga? Whether that be Weekly Shonen Jump or V Jump? Or if ever such an inclusion would have the same layout as CGC comics: key comments, art comments, etc.

Weekly Shonen Jump has the dimensions of B5: 18.2 × 25.7 cm; and V Jump is relatively similar ~

    All comments are welcomed.

  4. Another #147 prog acquired:

    • 1st appearance of Judge Minty.
    • The Long Walk is shown for the first time.
    • Chief Judge Griffin appearance.

I've been slowly building my 2000ad collection. Working on getting Alan Moore's early stuff. The Dark Judges arc might be next on my list and speaking of Marvelman...

    Awesome stuff! :x

Re-watched it again last night. It's criminal they never did a sequel. I don't collect 2000 AD, but the covers are awesome.

    Exactly

  5. Hey there ~

I know CGC has recently started encapsulating 2000AD comics, so I was curious whether - if submitted - they'd acknowledge the gift included with 2000AD #300. As the gifts from 2000AD #2 and #3 are recognised, and failure to include them results in a green-label been awarded. The 300th issue of 2000AD was originally distributed sealed with a Judge Dredd shield badge (as well as with a Prog #1 reprint cut-out):

Additionally: my proposed (updated) layout of 2000AD #300:

    Issue Date: 1/83

    Year: 1983

    Publisher: IPC Magazines Ltd.

    Country: United Kingdom

Key Comments: Distributed with Judge Dredd shield badge and Prog #1 reprint cut-out.

    Art Comments: Alan Grant, John Wagner, Gerry Finley-Day, and Chris Lowder stories;

Ian Gibson, Alan Davis, Ron Smith, Mike Dorey, and Brett Ewins art.

    All comments are welcomed :x

Could use a cleaning........looks like fanned pages.......not sure how to grade this.......the paper looks like newspaper as opposed to something glossy....don't know how it would be impacted by cleaning  and or press......someone who knows what they are talking about will be along soon enough.

    Thanks a lot :3
