  1. Yes. Yes, they are. 😂 That number is 1-888-4XATARI Happy to stay away on your behalf, but don’t be surprised when I call in a similar favor.
  2. 😂 Archie always seems to have those undertones.
  3. This issue was pretty highly sought after for a while. One of the best modern Archie covers.
  4. There is/was a good Spidey/Dr. Octopus page on eBay.
  5. I’m surprised to see so many pages being listed that have sold since I started collecting a few years. The recency makes it feel like buyers will continue to have opportunities on these pieces so why bid now?
  6. The pieces I was watching all went high. 🤷‍♂️
  7. That TMNT 1 is about half what it was going for during the pandemic push. I was actually pretty tempted on that one. Comic Link just had a 9.8 as well, so it looks like some folks may have been leveraged and are getting out. It's pretty rare to see two different 9.8 copies come to market so quickly given there are only 42 total on the census.
  8. Could be from a single seller. Maybe buyer's remorse or raising funds for something else.
  9. The more common story is it was walked out the back door by a certain employee.
  10. Hey Michael, I'd suggest reaching out to Corey there if you ever need something. He is excellent.
  11. Yes. I personally won’t consign there. That is way too risky. I’m sure the consignors for this past auction were not happy. I will also add, I spent two hours canceling and ordering new credit cards as a result. I wasn’t stoked to spend that time due to their lack of security.
  12. Wow, when I click on Current Auction, it takes me to a rather inappropriate site. Yikes.
  13. I just realized I have several cards on file there. Kicking myself.
  14. I’ve been loving collecting Snap art as well! There are some great up and coming artists, incredible variants, and a ton of people who play Snap. Here is the card art for the main Miles Morales card.
  15. I love that! I am just outside of Sacramento and remember Comics & Comix at both Birdcage in Orangevale and also downtown Sac. Growing up, one of my favorite days of the year we our annual class field trip to see the Nutcracker where I would sneak away to go to Comics & Comix to load up on back issues nowhere to be found in my hometown of Nevada City.
  16. Thank you, @Brian Peck for putting this together. It was truly a pleasure to meet so many of you in person. Good luck at the convention!
  17. Sounds good. I think Bailey reached out privately as well.
  18. Hey Brian, How many are you able to accommodate? Several from our collecting group were talking about doing something that evening, so depending on the space available, perhaps we could join.
  19. I personally think all of the Liefeld art marked as “prelim” from the 90s is gold. Most collectors don’t understand his process during this time. During the 90s Rob used pencils on very smaller thin paper format which he would then Xerox to enlarge. From here, either he or Marat Mychaels (most of the time) would ink over the enlarge facsimile. These smaller examples are the original pencils for the published pages. For more information straight from Rob's mouth about his process during this time check out the following Robservations podcasts at the specified time stamps. These are much more than "prelims".
