The next phase obviously has to step things back a bit after Endgame. If you keep on upping the stakes of the action then that doesn't leave a ton of room for character development.
I'm not overly concerned about the action. But losing Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and the unfortunate passing of Boseman, they lose a lot of fan favorites. Then we are rolling out some sub-tier characters (Shang Chi, the Eternals), that many non comic junkies may just shrug their shoulders.

I have decided to focus only on Marvel and avoid all X-books. In that sub-category. I am trying to isolate a few titles and complete some long Silver/Bronze runs. (Currently Cap, DD, Iron Man, Luke Cage, ASM). While I would like to whittle that down even more, sometimes you just come across some nice, higher grade stuff at decent prices, and don't want to pass up for FOMO.

Just saying the time I have left on this rock may not be enough to see all the other A-list Marvel characters in the MCU. The first Iron Man came out 13 years ago and we got a lot of movies since then but Marvel/Disney has yet to scratch beyond the surface of their arsenal of stories and characters. I'm impatient I guess. As a kid, waiting a month for the next issue to come out on the spinner rack was bearable, but knowing now what the MCU can be and the time it will take to tell all those stories is mind-boggling. Characters on paper never age or die (well, sometimes) but actors on the other hand...
My wife and I were just talking tonight about the MCU. We-thinks the next phase will underwhelm. (Hoping F4, can inject something into it).

Edgar Church didn't use CGC. His books survived just fine.

Timing is everything really. How many 'masters' lived frugal lives and died penniless, only to see their works in museums or be auctioned for millions, not seeing any of it? How many athletes in the 1950's-1970's made a decent living playing sports, but had to get jobs in the offseason to supplement lost income. Now they see average players get $3 mil a year?
If these old comic book artists only knew what pop culture would evolve to, and how much their work would be worth, everything would have gotten saved.

There is no universe that a person can reasonably tell the difference between a 9.4 and a 9.6, or a 9.2 to a 9.4. It all depends on the graders blood sugar level at the time of reviewing said book.

All of this and more. Don't shoot'em in the back. Don't shoot'em in the head. Don't shoot'em when they're on the ground. And sure as he11 don't shoot'em a dozen times after they've fallen. In the torso until they stop standing and advancing. And remember these words, "I was in fear for my life!".
And if you do shoot anyone, especially depending on the state you live, expect the next several years of your life, and most or all of your life savings, tied up in lawsuits and civil trials. If the thief dies, the family can and probably will still sue you for civil damages.
Hope they catch the thieves and can recover the stolen property.

I've said it before, they really confused the masses with their whole 9.0,. 9.2, 9.4, 9.6, 9.8, 9.9, and 10. No need for all of that. 10, 9.5 and 9.0 would have been plenty.

Garage Sale type store advertised on FB Market they just put out an original owner collection on Tuesday. Couldn't get there until today. Mostly Copper/Modern with some Bronze Age. Mostly bagged, some boarded, most stuff in average condition. Not sure if it got picked over before they purchased it, or if it got picked over the last two days. I enjoyed the hunt. The 3rd picture is what I came home with. $20

I live about an hour away....that'd be a pay cut. Nope. -
Walk in closet in spare room. No windows, interior walls, in short boxes elevated a bit on shelves. The only drawback is I live in FLA, so humidity is always a fight. I usually have an active cannister of 'Damp Rid' in there.
