Nice Blackhawk #29 Double Cover

Wow you must have searched allot more comic books than me to find that many I have been collecting for more than 30 years and I have over 12,000 comics not counting all the ones I have sold or traded and for that mater looked through to see if they had Double Covers and in all that time I have only found 2 double covers myself. Back In 1986 I bought a Alph Flight #44 off the spinner rack at a local Drug Store and when I took it out to my car I discovered it had a Double Cover well I got to thinking could their be more so I went back in and looked, and sure enough out of the 4 or 5 they had I found another copy of the same comic with a double cover " do they happen in bunches" well that is the only one I have ever found new off the stand. I did however find another one this year that was not listed as a Double Cover I bought a small lot of Marvel's Chamber of Chills on ebay as it had a 30 cent price variant in it that I needed and what do you know one of the other issues had a double cover I was very Happy with that purchase . So I guess what I am getting at is In my experience Double Covers are very rare and if you happen to just find one on your own you are one Lucky son of a gun "or maybe I am just unlucky" . Keep posting them

Wow BRNebraska nice bunch of Spidey Double Covers any interest in Selling or Trading any of those? I have lots of Double Covers that I would trade for ASM's I even have a few extra ASM's pm me if you are interested. Did you buy these on ebay? Thanks for posting them .

I don't think any of my dupes would qualify at this level. 35-centers are tough, let alone high-grade. Darth Diesel once said he had some spare CGC 9.2's. Can't remember if they were the 30 or 35 cent copies. I know what you mean though. Whenever i find them their FN/VF at best which just doesn't go with the rest of my collection I am pretty sure Darth Diesel did have a CGC 9.2 #171 35 cent variant at one time don't know if he still does or not though. I also think I have seen a CGC 9.6 also of the #171 are they not in the Census? and JC you might be right I have seen more #171's than #169's but not a whole lot more probably seen between 10 to 15 of each over the last 3 years. I have a extra but it looks really bad and I may be trading it soon anyway.

Most of my ASM Double Covers are low to mid Grade so I got most of them below guide their don't seem to be that much interest in them unless they are CGC graded over 9.0 like this one I just lost to Comgeek ASM 120 Double Cover I think I paid a little over guide for my #14 and maybe a few others but not by much. come to think of it Comgeek has beat me out of several high Grade ASM Double Covers that I realy wanted Does anyone know if he is a board member?

Hi the ASM 100 is probably about VG/F to Fine not that great and it is not for sale Sorry "unless I find a better copy with the Double Cover and that is possible I think I have seen 4 ASM 100's with Double Covers come up for sale on ebay over the last few years" . Only found two of mine accidently all the rest came from eBay where some one else found them and I just bought them knowing they were Double Covers Hear is another of my ASM Double Covers .

Nice DC Double Cover what are the others you have? post them if you can? Hear is another one it is interesting in that the inner cover had slid down about a inch before it got stapled and their is a white band at the top of the inner cover.
