  2. I honestly have no idea. I didnt look that closely. They had usagi on them though.
  3. You hit it on the head. the era most giving me trouble was the 'modern age' as it was so long. you may have coined 'digital age' as it goes for comics - but did we actually have digital art (blue line art) and digital comics in 2003? or is that even an important distinction?
  4. So this is probably in another thread, Please help me out - with naming/confirming the various art age eras. Feel free to correct dates if you think they can be more specific. Golden age art 1930s -1950s Silver age art 1960s Bronze age art 1970s-1980s 1990s art ???? 2000s art ?? Just released art ? Do we just say 'current art'??
  5. Or you can buy a nice J Scott campbell and have 7.5k left over to deposit towards another one. Its called a joke. But seriously - he was charging 20k for his new art at SDCC.
  6. Probably. Actually the tone of harley quinn comics is kind of a silly one - and this issue stems from a few years back. So the proper answer might be .. not usually.
  7. Another fun report. Out of curiosity -anybody know what the JLA Garcia Lopez art sold for? (HAKES auction)
  8. It sounds wierd to say that I am a fan of Bizarro - so it might be better to say: Bizarro holds a soft spot in my fanboy heart. Klunky and awkward. Never quite as good as the man of steel. Just added this Bizarro piece to my CAF. A fun cartoony interpretation by Terry Dodson. Inviting others who like the guy to post some art and share in Bizarro Love. CAF link
  9. Yeah ' i realized the mistake. Lesson is to not post when you are half asleep.
  10. Was at stan sakai's table at sdcc - he had a few interior pages for sale. $ 900- $1000

  12. Love this one! Both the artist and the subject. As a long time convention goer - this one is very relatable.
  13. I will try and post some art photos from the con. Will be there tomorrow. Assuming no internet/data issues. In the mean time - if you attended preview night or are able to upload images to this thread- please share.
  14. What is your dream comission by a living artist (s)? Who would it be and what would it be of? And/or If you got a dream comission by a non living comic artist - who and what might it be?
  15. Its part of the options with premium membership. Btw - of you look at caf a lot, premium membership is a nice way to support a site that you enjoy and want to see stick around.
  16. We forgive you. How can anyone wih a Borat avatar not be forgiven for being lazy. (PS..love that movie)
  17. I have noticed this too. makes me wonder If I should do the same? Is there a proper etiquette?
  18. love that Bob Fujitani page. Never heard of him before as I don't collect this period - but I could really get into it, if it's all as well done as the page you posted.
  19. As an added question to the main one - when leaving comments for those you follow - do you ever feel compelled to? or not too - because you don't want to over do it? asking because I noticed some items get a ton of comments right away - and my guess is those folks have a lot of followers.
  20. wondering how many folks are using the follow gallery function, how you use it and how many do you follow? you can also share what factors you use to decide on following or not? have you un-followed? Full disclosure - currently following 39 galleries.
  21. Saw this on CAF. Andrew Wildman really captured that 90s look. A great score for sure!
