  1. Seems like just about nothing fell through the cracks last night. As for your hands, I'm not sure why they're hot little hands.
  2. A Berk trifle, but fun and not wallet-draining. This 1906 Little Nemo: and the back side:
  3. That is so rad! It simply reeks of GA goodness.
  4. Love it! "Then out you go! We have no room for anything but brains!" Oddly relevant philosophy from a funny book.
  5. Does the banana mean you won the Gale Allen OA, or are you just happy to see us?
  6. I pretty much figured you were my tango partner in that dance!
  7. Oh, one can still regret it later!! Trust me on this.
  8. And I must say, 'tis a striking resemblance to Mr. Sqeggs!
  9. Well how about that! I leave my desk for an hour and the insinuations fly! It's just harmless "Marvel mat play" with my friend Sqeggs. Sure, maybe a bit of the Red Sonja Half Nelson, or if we're up for it, a Black Widow Boston Crab, but at the end of the day, it's all about the brain freeze that will really start hurting at end of day Friday.
  10. yes, you get a dit OMG, then what happens to the cre??
  11. Just guessing here... I'll bet they use the same hair salon.
  12. WOW, what a book!!! One of the all-time classics! Flessel knocked this one out of the park!
  13. Thanks Steve. There are only silly details: the fact is, the only time of day I can take a decent photo of my books is around 3:30 in the afternoon when the sun catches a comic book-sized patch of my Moroccan carpet at an angle, providing good lighting for the photo without too much glare!
  14. Thanks sagii!! I'm buying books as fast as my wallet can cover me, and as fast as my wife doesn't notice me!!!
  15. A recent pick-up. The details on this cover are mind-boggling. No doubt this took Lou a long time to complete. The "Moroccan carpet" copy.
  16. I'm rooting for whomever Jon Berk is rooting for. (My guess being the Warriors...!)
  17. Simply beautiful. A wonderful example of buying the book not the grade. Where do you find stuff like this?!?!?
  18. That's an interesting question. I think it's pretty well established that Eisner and Fine collaborated closely together and learned a lot from each other during that time. So chances are good that Eisner had some role in the cover, maybe layouts or some of the figures. But if you look at Eisner's Jumbo 12 cover below (not my copy) from a few months later, Eisner's style seems quite different, IMO.
  19. Well, Steve, I know it's not a competition, but your Planet 10, 8.5 ow/w, crushes my 5.0 sb. Not easy to find a copy with red tones. That is a true gem!!!
