    Saw this too where their color removal actually removed significant chips from a Bronze Age book. If I were the submitter, I’d prefer to be let known this would be the result and only proceed if that were acceptable. Might be a case where the purple label might actually be preferred

    That’s a good question. One might also assume the graders are assigned to work at certain tiers based on experience…the higher the pay grade/wage, the more scrutinizing/thorough the grader may be. just a little food for thought

    I think after the whole FTX crypto debacle, the odds of those ridiculous prices we saw over the past year or so are done. If any of those buyers are gonna need to liquidate, they’re going to take a huge hit on their investment…pennies on the dollar

    7.5-8.0 Back cover looks amazing. I’m seeing some moderate edgewear at the bottom right front cover that may not look as bad in hand with a few color breaks in other spots and the spine. Really nice book all in all

    I think you could get 9.0-9.2 after the cleaning. The cut of the pages themselves won’t bring the grade down but because they extend as much as they do there’s a possibility that close inspection may detect flaws caused to the pages after manufacturing
