This is what I figured out last night, when people that maybe ithough it was cgc cheerleadering, but rings truer than most and is why I'm curious what cgc will offer as tangible proof of a "fix". The reholder guy being fired might not suffice when they've tried hiring new qc people often with low results.

I had to rewrite descriptions of some back cover pictures in the registry as I tried to "proudly display" some Larsen, that was a challenge, but in between McFarlane and Bagley on Spidey so kind of noteworthy. Still hard to do!

The person I was responding to was stating that the swap was so good and case not showing damage, I asked if THAT was true why did he then send it to cgc? The revamped case I mean. Not the original high grade issue. Obviously he'd have to send in legit high grades, but why was he then swapping in the low grades into the high, and then sending that swapped in to CGC for reholder... If in fact he could swap books so flawlessly. He'd just sell the swapped low into the high, while keeping the high grade for Future submissions without sending to cgc The answer was mark jewelers and other notations. Still a good question because I don't think all of them were for notations. In other words if cgc fixes the worker who failed in duties to check books all would be fine. But people are going to need evidence that this is now true, and that people can't swap so flawlessly and not have to send to cgc

Apologize for the typos. You got to admit, I don't attempt fast long posts. Posts are drifting towards the same circle chase and the same thing over and over, so I don't blame you.

His point is.... That regardless if you have no slab or shards of slabs, cgc people are supposed to look over the book period the end. They're not doing that, this tangent is pointless and he's trying to make you realize. If a book goes to reholder, the book should be reviewed in all aspects, it is not. Hence my you're fired gif, that is probably the only processes that have been fixed. The dude who was supposed to look at every book wasn't. What you should be focused on is not if it looks so so it gets a pss or goes straight through, that is the myth, no such thing. Every book in reholder no matter what should get opened and searched to see if grade matches. In that case it doesn't matter how much of the case is still attached, the book should be flipped through and isn't You're fired!

I can think of one way he didn't cover his but, but won't mention it publicly as I don't want to give ideas. Then there is the picture reflection of him in the slabs for ebay. Not saying you're wrong, but while the person of interest definitely had a lot of time to think, thank God it wasn't perfect...

Of all the ones on his store that were proven swapped, I don't think there is even one that wasn't sent back to CGC or however they prove that. That was my understanding. Sorry coffee too late at night. :shy

This is the problem, cgc didn't even care enough to "look over a book" when just in an inner well? Why fake the case at all then? Unless they did look it over, no way of telling. The book you got back probably looked the same as you sent etc.
