Lol this is what I mean, this whole thing is odd an odd hill to die on. I feel like i should be pointing and laughing. And then I think well that's not nice, then I think how does this affect me but that's selfish. Idk I'm trying to wrap my minimal experience with variants and maybe a light bulb will go off. And it's not all determined: acetate not production nor authorized. Just a "manufactured variant" that is basically the same as every other variant, but never mind that because cgc gave it a blue label. Then I understand there is no decency in that, but this is the boards, and I expect that to matter so I "get it" Does anyone even know the last page cgc Mike spoke about it? Its 104 pages of the same thing, and a whole lot of non reciprocation, that Idk even know whom I'm expecting a solution from finger pointing and no solutions. Congrats! Will be nice to have them back and closure. Mechanical errors are hard to "justify" but cgc does do their best and to their credit. If it ships tomorrow, it will be somewhat over nighted back, but it being Friday, Monday deliveries are still most common Edit what I mean is, cgc does fast shipping back to you too!

+1 and without any new info, itll remain the same I'm coming to the same conclusion that after all this, itll be "remember when?" With no context and much ado about nothing.

No I'm clarifying as a recap of what the thread sounds like. Everyone is getting it out of their system with different views. To clarify my stance, which I haven't made yet, it is an issue. This seems like every step leads to me to believe in the grand scheme of things, it's an odd no brainer. So 103 pages later did it take 103 pages to surmise in one post what I stated? Definitely an issue, I'm wondering if cgc response is awaiting cool down. Or somehow I've missed it in this sea of pages where cgc had posted what three times? Definitely an issue definitely a problem but has lost its luster imo

I'm not saying that's good or bad, remains to be seen. If each variant is limited enough to where the variants left holding the bag is small enough to not have a voice, it'll just keep going infinitum. Was just double checking and sounds like the blue label is the only issue. I don't collect acetate covers so why does the layperson care? Other than shouting credibility and trust is a gray area at the top of their lungs. When in reality they're perfectly fine with this non issue that won't happen again 😂 this is me explaining if I have this right.

The only thing I've learned, is, where are all the Variant chasers left holding the bag? Surely there was a loss on some variants somewhere? I'm not sure that I'm seeing any real fallout other than the slabbing process.... idk, this would be the time to speak up if variants really are a trap and money is being lost?. I guess not This is one variant among many? The only complaint is some "missing out on obtaining their copy?" and that it might not should have been blue label? C'mon, are the comics really making $ hand over fist and this is the only detriment of a blue label? sounds like everyone is silently happy? and just moving on to the next? so this will all blow over? as has been done for a long time?

amen. I couldn't make it past the 1st episode. I wanted to "believe" though they still have forever to do such going forward. I think about it sometimes, how we have years upon years to drum up likes and nostalgia. It used to be more narrow as it could all go away tomorrow? haha but we can still get excited they were willing to try and hope it doesn't "scrap the project!"

you have a 2 week window to either contact CGC and organize, and or, approve a mechanical error that will reholder for free. Just use the customer service email, and use the "ME"- Mechanical error option on the submission forms. Hopefully you have your own account, as if you submitted through a LCS or anything it would be more to work out, 3rd party etc. If your own account it is pretty straight forward under the submission forms edit to add, that it should be done for free if just getting them back in a submission from CGC https://www.cgccomics.com/account/my-submissions/

It was half price books, I found a couple moderns there too for $6 a piece, this Last Ronin was one of them, I believe it is magazine tier as well!

I'm still going to call this thread, as I consider it the antique garage sale thread, similar to the one in comics general. At $5 a piece it'll do
