  1. Thanks Ashes, but this is the thread that has the attention of the admin team - best post any new issues in that now (ygogolak has found it): https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/480229-problem-with-the-board-software-update-yesterday/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-11521548
  2. That's such a good one MR SigS - you've nailed the brief
  3. Hi Dena, Do you have any update regarding the 'Top View Summary' sidebar yet? Example below to the right ('Top Posters In This Topic'): The Invision website description indicates that this is a function that admin will be able to switch off: https://invisioncommunity.com/news/product-updates/45-topic-view-summary-and-more-r1191/ Perhaps a poll to establish how the members feel about it might be a good idea? I can see pros and cons myself but it takes up an awful lot of space and compresses the posts which are likely what most readers are interested in. In respect of the 'expand' functionality for quoted posts that has crept back in - example below: ...the members voted this down back in 2017: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/415227-abbreviate-quoted-text-helpful-or-annoying-extra-click/ Unless you feel the members should be recanvassed - I haven't seen many complaints about it - this is something which can be switched off if you agree. Finally, and perhaps for the benefit of others who have queried it (you probably already know I'm sure) the 'Member's Solved Count' function appears to relate to the old 'Change Requests & Voting' forum which has long since been archived: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/457206-members-solved-count-what-is-it/ This is perhaps why the feature only seems to appear against members when they post in the Q&A forums: If that is the case, that function too can be switched off as we no longer have the upvoting / solved functionality in any of our live forums for the count to have any merit / purpose. Hope that helps. Cheers, Steve
  4. From the Invision website forum: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/457206-members-solved-count-what-is-it/
  5. @Redshade @rakehell guys, one of you might be interested in the top one if I recall correctly back from when we were discussing these.....
  6. $1,451.62 (For Jim if it's a winner - I'll pay postage)
  7. Yes, I'm more familiar with certain covers from their Alan Class reprint copies than the original books themselves - and he used some of them quite often didn't he, our Alan All the images should be restored now Robot, apart from those added in the last day or so. I'm off to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow on the few of my recent ones that failed the forum software upgrade test....
  8. Nice run! I had no awareness of Charlton really, growing up. I must have been in an area that they weren't distributed as I don't recall seeing a single copy as a kid. I've got over 600 now, mostly the pence copies as you know. I really love them. The 1960-1964 UKPV phase has something wonderful about it and just fills me with joy. I'm just smelling the musty interior of a Hunk #1 now as it goes. That's something I never thought I'd be saying at 53 I can tell you, Kevin
  9. Not really, the right side is back now....but when i read/posted in this thread i had full widescreen view. Musta been s glitch! I see it now - will add to the list
  10. FYI https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/480195-a-list-of-issues-relating-to-the-161220-forum-software-upgrade/#comments
  11. I would wait - I think a process will eventually run to restore them, if previous update outcomes are anything to go by. If I recall correctly, if you try to manually repair a missing image from an old post the automated process may corrupt it. I seem to recall that happening to me. So I would wait. Those that need to be aware, have been made aware:
  12. £2 aint bad! I got stung for £4 postage the other week. It came second class Large Letter with no card and in a recycled envelope. I calculated they made about £2.30 profit, the bar stewards. I'll post my comic when it comes Robot. Here we go Robbie. I bought it so I could put it next to my pence copy and 15c variant but, of course, that's issue 15, not fourteen. The good news though, apart from it being a brilliant comic, is that I got another backing board summary from the chap who's name escapes me now, summarising how cool the comic is (I've posted other examples in my Charlton thread): "A 'stunning' comic!!" How brilliant is that
  13. Morning guys I was working on the summary over in the journals area yesterday and the software change kicked in and mucked it all up. As it stands, all the journal pages are missing their images and experience tells me that not all of them may return if and when the owners get around to reinstating them. Quite a few of mine have hyperlinks so I'll wait and see what happens - there may be a lot of repair work to be done if everything isn't automatically restored so I may leave the summary to next year. Fingers crossed
  14. No one seemed to get the joke, an immediate IHTNB thread five minutes after the upgrade
  15. If it says MJI, yes. It should say NDS. @Nick Moran - can we see a picture?
  16. You probably just clicked on your like symbol from the Leaderboard page on your last progress check visit: Nothing to do with mods whatsoever I would have thought, just a standard feature of the board software, available to all.
