  1. Flash! Ah-ahh! King of the impossible! That's the wrong Flash isn't it. 1.5 seems about right. A little too shabby for pressing and cleaning in my opinion. And besides, you wouldn't want to rub off that Thorpe and Porter price stamp by mistake would you?
  2. At least he can use the cloak if it all goes wrong. You wouldn't want to be touching cloth in that outfit.
  3. They'll have to watch they don't run over his cloak though. It looks about 30 feet long.
  4. Watch-er, geddit? I had this when I was Spidey completisting. Every appearance, however small. Fun times. Betty here had that far away look that Gwen had when she stepped out of Warren's clone machine. If my memory serves that is.
  5. Betty looks familiar there... I could always watch her. What if it wasn't a Spidey title....? I'll leave it for 15, and see if it comes to me.
  6. This one has been a long time coming - Fantastic Four #370: I'm as confident as I can be that issue #374 is the last AUS priced copy, so #370 completes the set for the title: And it brings us up to 1,289 confirmed AUS copies overall: All good fun
  7. You never lose it do you. Even in my fifties, my heart still sinks when I see the postman pass me by. On the flip, I still get excited beyond what is reasonable for an adult of some years when he knocks with about five parcels for me. It's one of the many reasons that I love comics. Comics bring me parcels
  8. Here's my Strange Tales #5 Randy @Rand Comics - it reprints Spider-Man #1 and there's none on the census! To you, sixty meelion sesterces! Oh, bugger, I've found another. Thirty meelion sesterces!
  9. Morning Sensational Spider-Man #3 brings us up to 1,288 confirmed AUS copies: Only issues one and two are currently absent to complete the title set: Issue #3 is slightly unusual for the title in as much as it's only cover difference is the price: AUS Copy: US Newsstand Copy: The barcodes are the same for both AUS and US Newsstand copies. For issues #4-10, the AUS copy has the unique AUS priced barcode - example below: Incidentally, the US Newsstand #3's indicia makes no mention of AUS pricing, as is standard: I wonder if 1&2 will ever turn up.... See ya.
  10. Hello Jman We're all having a bit of trouble understanding exactly what your question is here. Maybe you are from a non-English speaking country? Not a bad first attempt if so. If it's CGC themselves you are trying to contact, maybe try here: https://www.cgccomics.com/contact/ Good luck!
  11. There have been quite a few threads about Mile High and their pricing and in one of them I can remember posting a reason why they could, under certain circumstances, be value for money That's right, value for money. Here's an old invoice I found in the filing today from 2003. Being based in the UK, I made a note based on the conversion rate of the time as to the cost to me in sterling. You can see lots of comics for under a pound: Add in free UK airmail shipping over (I think) $100 and you can soon see how it could be a worthwhile exercise. Take 'Silver Sable' for example - I bought four copies which had Spidey references in them and they cost 63p, 94p, 94p and £1.25 from Mile High. The same books from Silver Acre at the time were £1.25 or £1.50 each with postage on top: Mile High: Silver Acre: I found that you could get a whole lot of books from Mile High cheaper than you could from the main UK dealers when ordering in bulk and, in many cases, Mile High were the only ones that had them in the first instance. And their packaging was always bullet proof. So while I'm certainly no fan of Chucks more eye watering prices, and to this day I curse his inane 100 x newsstand pricing strategy, examples like the scenario above are one of the reasons why he's likely stayed in business all these years. He has the stock, and a lot of it is cheap. If anyone was wondering that is.
  12. I found this is my paperwork today - an old CBG article from 2005 which I saved. Might be of interest to some
  13. They're brilliant It's a shame CGC couldn't make little holders for them
  14. The test thread is good because you can muck about to your hearts content without anyone seeing
  15. What Avi said @goodrockrich - see Avi's post above. You can play around in the testing section here: https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/11-testing-1-2-3/ Only you can see what you do there (and the mods). Create a post, reply to it and then try the nesting with another reply and you'll soon get the hang of it. Etc....
