  1. The message some pages back didn't go anywhere near far enough for me. It took a lot of pushing to get it, but it ultimately left me even less impressed. If only there was a decent competitor out there.
  2. What's your take on it all? Valid complaint or mountain out of a molehill?
  3. That's more like it. Definitely a fly or two in that soup. Keeps the poll alive while we await divine intervention....
  4. Mine neither. But CGC say it's always been there since day one. And that gets my goat. Trying to pass a new problem off as something that's always been there. "Waiter, there's a fly in my soup." "There's always been flies in our soup Sir. Eat up, it's completely normal." "Waiter, there's four flies in my wifes soup." "We only refund on five flies. And besides, we placed it on your table 45 seconds ago. The window for returns is 30 seconds. You're a bit awkward aren't you Sir." "That's outrageous! We'll take our business next door!" "There isn't a next door Sir. We're the only restaurant for ten thousand miles. Eat up."
  5. Thanks namisgr. I have a few of that style slab and the inner and outer wells seem snugly in contact all over. If your book here is the same, then the fact that the rings are in one small spot suggests contamination in that spot, wouldn't you say? Maybe some grease, something like that. If so, that would indicate sound materials, with the rings the result of handling issues. Where is the first or second gen book example that is covered in them, as so many of the 3rd gens are? It doesn't exist, does it. Does it?
  6. Me too. In Sainsburys this morning. I was one clench away from a full on touching cloth incident
  7. Alright, there's no need to be a outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed about it.
  8. It's a good temporary put down though. "You're just a outside-affiliatelinksnotallowed mate" See
  9. We've hit peak Dranzer overload. Even Michael two rows back isn't laughing.
  10. Does anyone remember what the white inflatable ball that chased The Prisoner around was called?
  11. Cool. Obvious thing to say, but the keys will probably take off in a big way as cents prices move further and further out of sight. And when I prove the pence books were printed first, well....
  12. I like how you're going about this journal @oldmilwaukee6er I've never read a Spawn comic, but the description of issue #5 makes me want to. I like a bit of well placed vengeance me. Thanks for posting it
  13. Lowly? You meant 'lovely' didn't you Larry A lot of L's in that sentence
  14. Blimey, that's a price! Good spot Dr. Love I see CGC and Comiclink both refer to Esquire magazine in the listing / CGC label. Will that myth ever die.... Shame it has to be encased sideways to fit the case
