  1. Maybe he was a slow reader and used as a book mark.
  2. This explains why his Shadow work was his best. His style and the era work nicely together.
  3. I really like Adams watercolor with ink over it covers. Fantastic style, free flowing yet quick.
  4. Always loved her art. Strong composition and tone. Cool stuff.
  5. Great covers, love the worried look. Any idea who did the art?
  6. Robbins art at the time I thought looked dated. Strange but I think his art has held up better than I expected, I was looking at some of his DC Shadow stuff and it was stronger than I remembered.
  7. To read, yes. I enjoyed the 40s to early 100s of this series a lot. As a financial investment, no. Which I don't understand.
  8. I had a decent copy signed by Adams and I had a hard time selling it. Nice book with a crease near the top, but signed. Sold out for $100.00 a few months back. I wonder how long it will sit before a few copies move?
  9. I often wonder if I bought real gold when I was young instead of gold comics where I would be. Still I do have some great books that I would really have to think twice about if I bought them today with the money I made buying that gold. Very round about thinking.
  10. If we are looking at this as an investment with growth as the goal I would look at what is the next major movie that will get hot. Ms.Marvel is one I feel will only get hotter as the movie gets closer to release. But most people have already jumped, so lets look at what is maybe coming into production, like Moon Knight. Werewolf by Night is already a hot book so lets not go there but Marvel Spotlight 28 I feel would have growth. The Punisher on Netflix is another new show and Marvel Preview 2 should see growth. Thoughts about any other character that might become a movie?
  11. Eternals selling at all I feel is some heat, last year I tried selling Eternal #4 my grade an 8.5 to 9.0 on eBay and all I got was a few Watch and no bites. And it was a auction starting at $.99.
  12. I just love Barry Smith's Conan stuff. I remember when this book started and it was so "new" that each book was a surprise. Very cool stuff than and still.
  13. I don't think so. If he starts appearing in the movies the new buyer/investor collector won't know that the books were speculated a few years earlier, they will just assume that is the current price. Maybe I'm wrong but we will know soon.
  14. This is cool, he is one of my favorite character and the whole cosmic story lines are perfect for film. Any idea who is playing him?
  15. A CGC member named World Devourer said Adam Warlock is in the end credits of the new Guardians. Should make a run on prices on eBay. Has anyone else heard this?
  16. A very sweet looking book. I would have thought higher too. What do the grader notes say about it?
  17. A few links http://www.gamesradar.com/guardians-of-the-galaxy-2-director-teases-sylvester-stallone-and-michael-rosenbaums-very-important-new-characters/ http://screenrant.com/guardians-of-galaxy-vol-2-sylvester-stallone-character/?view=all I was wondering if the mentioning of Nova is helped to bring some interest in Nova #1. I don't think Stallone is playing Nova but the question that he might be and is that helping interests? Are sale prices increasing?
  18. Screen Rant announced "Shaft of the Chaste on The Defenders. Created by Frank Miller during his early-80s run on Daredevil " issue 187 might heat up soon.
  19. Has Nova #1 had any heat because of the new movie or is it coasting along?
  20. Beautiful book, Stan's signature looks sharp too. Real big book in that grade signed.
