I was just about to start a thread on this very topic and company, good thing I did a search first. I’m on the fence too. Don’t have to many high grade books but hope to in the future. Things can and do happen so it’s disappointing to hear that they don’t want to renew your policy considering that’s what insurance is for. It’s their right yes, but what’s the point of you can’t use it again? Did you get another policy with a different company or just relocated the collection?

Good point. Some splash pages look great. Just figured for the more sought after books, a complete copy was better to have. Coverless might be more budget friendly so a good option.

Speaking ofcoverless copies, do most just keep these in the original form or attach a facsimile cover? I’ve often wondered about these. They are incomplete but if it’s the only copy you can afford, why not.

Wow!! Great books! Every time I see a post with multiple copies I’m amazed and a bit disappointed that I didn’t get a few myself when prices were more within reach.
