I use them and haven’t had any issues either. Like them too. Center books and then tape them. Additional cardboard does go along way as you mentioned to reinforce. Even in mailers these get handled rough just like anything else that’s shipped. I have received a few from others that have had corners dings as well so it might be chance in most cases.

I’m a modern collector with a few older books. So that said, The grail I’m currently looking for is a copy of TWD 1 black label, raw or slabbed. Price has got to be right and affordable based on my budget though. Unfortunately, not many tend to agree with me on the price. O’well. One day.

Just got a trolly similar to the one you have in the picture and plan on using the new BCW plastic bins. Don’t think they’re big enough for magazine sized books though.

If you’re into anime I’d recommend the my hero academia and ghost in the shell. Not sure if either ties into the actual story of the anime, but I think they’re worthy. I’m a tad biased though. I think turn out usually depends on personal interests really. If nothing peaks interest, then your truly not missing out considering they’re free. The sales are usually decent if you’ve been waiting to get something. I’ll be going and taking my niece to get some books for the both of us. A good way to introduce her to the hobby.

I appreciate everyone’s input. I must admit that I need to think outside of the box and use a little more common sense when dealing with buyers. I’ll keep these suggestions in mind for future reference and know that there are definite preorder risks. Technically I guess there’s alsways risk when books are shipped raw or slabbed. I’ll update once I hear back.
