Some cgc books tend to be a little more pricey than other companies so looking for a particular book at a cost I can afford. I’m not well versed to grade on my own. From the looks of it there’s definitely some spine stress and a few ticks (some color breaking not all though), along with a small stain on the front and back corner respectively.

Hello folks! How do folks feel about purchasing books graded by other companies? I’m thinking in terms of buying a book, cracking the slab and then submitting to cgc. I imagine all companies grade slightly different to an extend or at least not as strict or well versed. Worth it if the book is a high grade from another company or just buy cgc for the guarantee of the grade. Thanks!

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking just couldn’t help and think it’s a decent price. I’ll just get my low copy signed by Stan, and look for a higher blue label. Worth getting a low grade pressed? All spine ticks look to break the color so probably not but figured I’d ask.

Need some help deciding. Worth it: Cgc 8.5 qualified, missing mvs for $2000? It would be a huge upgrade to my current copy. I prefer blue label if getting a slab since book would be complete, but don’t think I can find the extra cash. Or, just keep my low grade and get it signed by Stan Lee? Or both?

I have ordered from them a few times with no issues. Ordered some slabs recently, arrived damaged and still waiting. Think it might be hit or miss with online stores since we cannot see the products before ordering or shipment are sent. No guarantees I guess in the quality assurance area prior to shipping books out slabbed or raw to the customer. Maybe some improvement is needed in this area. Normally speaking most online stores that strive to provide great customer service and value their reputation will resolve issues quickly with either a replacement or a refund.

And here I was hoping for a raw copy with the MVS intact or a mid grade slabbed book. Graded might just be a tad out of my budget. Dang. Priorities always seem to get in the way.

Hello! Sorry if this is a repost. Is anyone else having issues with the CGC page? I have had an error page come up just about 80% of the time when I’m using the forum. Is there a way to fix this or am I alone with this problem? I get booted off the page or it doesn’t work anymore. Picture provided of the error I see each time. Thanks!

Tempted too! Might just bite and get a few. I wonder what other variants there could be aside from trade, b/w and Virgin covers, they mention “etc.” Maybe sketches. Interesting.

Any one know where the main list of guests and exclusives are for sdcc? I don’t mean the special guest lists either.
