  1. Punch Comics 14.
small spine split of about 1 inch on bottom of spine. Lower staple popped front cover but still attached at back. Small tear to cover above top staple. Small triangle missing on bottom right front cover. Overall solid low grade copy. I would put it at a good. this is a copy that some say is a nude woman cover but it is really just the statue and on this copy someone’s well intentioned parent? Helped the statue be a bit more modest and drew on a bikini top!

    $245  Lowered to $220   Lowered to $180

  2. America’s Greatest Comics 4

2.0 writing in cover and a small spine split at the bottom, about 1.75 inches. Book has a 1 inch tear through the middle at the top, kind of hard to see. I think someone attempted the strongman feat of ripping a phone book in half on a smaller scale and failed. Cardboard cover still well attached to the insides. Neat 100 page GA issue. A VG sold on eBay for $99 so let’s do $50 on this one.  Lets try $40

  3. Action Comics 88.  I would give it a qualified 1.5 or 1.0   It has a married detached cover.  Is it really married if it is detached?  Maybe but hopefully everyone will know what I mean.  Chunk out on right side of front cover  Centerfold is well attached.  Interior pages are off white and supple. $110,     Now $ 90  Now $75. For a GA Action under #100 with a cover?

  4. I will have a variety of Golden Age books in the thread.  Mostly will be fairly low grade and affordable, and a few a bit higher.

Shipping will be at cost and I cannot do Media Mail per my post office.  I will do flat rate priority or regional boxes or first class.  International shipping (out of USA) is on a case by case basis so just check with me.

I can take Paypal goods and services, Venmo, and Postal money orders on sales less than $1000.  Only money orders and checks on anything over 1000.

I expect payment within 3 days of sale unless prior arrangements are made.  No returns on CGC books.  Raw books can be returned within 10 days but you need to let me know within 3 days of receiving the book that you are returning it and buyer is responsible for returning postage.  Comics also have to be returned in the same shape that they went out in.

This is my first sales thread so if I miss something please just let me know.  I have bought quite a bit on these boards for the past 3 years and have never had a bad experience.

    Thanks a lot for looking!

  5. I just had a purchase that the seller dropped it off at a Post Office in Boulder CO and it sat there for 3 days before it even got scanned in and then to Denver and started moving toward me.  I think there is just so many things being shipped now that 6 months ago people ran to Target (or some other store) that it is overwhelming the businesses that we have in place.  I know it doesn't ease your stress but I have not lost more things since March but I have experienced a lot more delays.  Good luck with your package.

    Thx everyone!!

I just realized I liked this post and then thought I better be clear. I like the idea of more neat comics, I really dislike the idea that you got injured. Hope you feel better soon.

More Fun Comics #89 (DC, 1943) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages.

The Green Arrow and Speedy practice their archery skills on some unfortunate criminals on Cliff Young's clever cover for this Golden Age title. The issue also features the origin of the Green Arrow and Speedy team.

    One copy grades higher.

    More Fun Comics #93 "D" Copy pedigree (DC, 1943) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white pages.

It's old-fashioned fun as Green Arrow and Speedy meet "The Man from the Mauve Decade" (that's the 1890s, in case you were wondering). The cover is by Cliff Young, who also drew the accompanying story. While earlier issues of this title mixed in a few adventure-type characters, this one's an all-superhero affair -- how do Doctor Fate, Aquaman, Johnny Quick, and the Spectre strike you? Note that while Overstreet calls this the first appearance of Dover and Clover, that comedic duo didn't debut until the following issue.

Only the Church copy grades higher so this is the best affordable copy you can find right now! Heritage has only offered two CGC copies in the last 15+ years!

    $500.00

It's self preservation...either find something positive to do or binge on the stuff I have hidden in case of the zombie Apocalypse;) and I don't even watch Zombie stuff;) it's just an excuse to hide chocolate.

This is it for this morning. If anyone has comics they want to donate, graphic novels, etc...it's a good time to organize your shelves;)

If I show this to my wife and she thought "hiding chocolate" could be classified as "preparation" then we might be seeing if Amazon can still deliver chocolate. :wishluck:

More Fun Comics #45 (DC, 1939) Condition: FR/GD.

Another awesome cover by Creig Flessel and full of color! Interior art by Bob Kane, Jerry Siegel, and Joe Shuster.

The cover is detached and is partly split, with lots of tape. The interior pages are off-white with no brittleness.

Heritage sold this copy in 2011 for $388.38 (I was an underbidder and I have no recollection of where or when I got it).

I will offer it for $400.00 (which means in light of shipping costs, which are free for this purchase, it is selling for less than what it did in 2011).

Don't risk missing it because the odds of you finding another copy any time soon are prettttttty slim.

More Fun Comics #37 (DC, 1938)

An awesome Creig Flessel cover. He is my absolute fav!

Joe Shuster, Bob Kane, and Bernard Baily art.

Strong cover, bright colors, very slight spine roll, centerfold unfortunately detached (possibly could be re-attached), cream pages, dealer I bought it from priced at $625 and didn't reveal centerfold issue, but because of that I assign it a 3.0 grade (instead of a 6.0). The Flessel cover alone, as well as the interior cover page scene of Superman, makes it worth $385.00.
