I haven’t ever used my (now defunct) website to sell comics

my last serious board sale was probably 6-7 years ago

i haven’t sold on eBay since 2011 outside of an exception here and there

i haven’t used fb or ig to sell comics

I Pretty much only sold in person , mostly via store and conventions

all that is changing for me This year (set in motion pre covid 19)

will sell online and via ig and here on the boards again. My con presence will diminish over next year or two

Times they a changing for moi

As someone who only got to see pictures of your set up at cons I will certainly look forward to any sales thread you have here on the boards and I am certain I am not alone in that. (thumbsu

Mandrake the Magician, Feature Book #55. 1948 There is a 1” split at the bottom that goes through most of the pages. Nothing appears to be brittle, I think that is a tear, but I'm not certain. Grade is Gd/VG (3.0) bin is $25.00

  3. I think that purchases on CGC boards are certainly a large portion of books.  Probably not compared to Ebay, but I would think more than HA, Comicconnect and Comiclink combined.  I think with GA books you just buy them where you find them.  I do still try to go to LCS when I am traveling to see what is there and I still buy comics every Wednesday, though that is as much just for nostalgia and to keep long ongoing relationships with people I have known for many years as it is to get new books which I could do cheaper online.

  4. Does anyone have a raw MF 89 that you can easily get to and look at?  There is a slabbed incomplete one on ebay that has a married CF and is missing wrap 15.  I think I have it but would like to be a little more sure before I try to bid on it.  By my counting it should be pages 2,3,8, and 9 of the Aquaman story on that 15th wrap.  Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

  6. A few have mentioned that they are Consigning  in upcoming auctions and have emailed comic connect. Any word back yet? Just wondering about the turn around times in emails as my employer has told us for good customer service all emails should be responded to in 24 hours or less, even if you can’t solve the problem in that time at least let them know you are aware and working on it. It is disappointing as they were one of the auction houses that previously I have really enjoyed following and occasionally bidding.
