Maybe we should just turn this thread into pics of The Highest Graded Comics? for anyone out there that can find pics of the highest Graded ASM #1,FF#1 and others please post.... basically any Major keys if you have or can find pics of the highest graded issue please post them

dear lord do you think it would have been a 9.8 if there "M" wsnt written on the cover? also is this the highest graded Cap 1?

Theres a bend in Left bottom corner... any advice/grades would be great

as I said I've got some like it too...I Inherited my collection...about 175 Boxes....Over 99% of the collection hasnt been restored... but I did find some comics(probably around 50 total) where it looks like someone used markers to color touch small color breaks on the spine...in most of the books I found like this, They were only tiny color breaks, But I do have a few where they used a lot of Marker and It bleed through similar to yours... like you they dont bother me much, My collection is Personal and I love them even with The color touch... I was in no way trying to put your book down by asking if it was restored...Its a great book(Better than Mine in fact)...I just wasnt sure if It was the pictures or if it had been restored, thats the only reason I mentioned it... as for a grade...I have no clue...I've never known how to grade comics with that kinda of Color touch...I hope some people on here gives you some grades and could tell us how much that kind of color touch effects the grade...

completely agree... I'm new, but know enough to know CGC's website is right.... do you have to pay money to look up the info you just looked up, like buy a subscription or is it part of the free account?

I dont know, again I'm not your typical collector, I truly know nothing about the Business... but I always figured that The company that Graded the book would want to take Pictures of it...I Mean I'm sure When/If A HULK 181 camein, they grade it, realize its a 9.9 and then know its the highest Recorded copy ever, I figured They would take pictures of it,The Bosses would want to see it...stuff like that. I thought someone who started a site might just need to contact the Graded company who did the RECORD grading and they would have pictures of the Record breaking books. but now that I think about it, maybe its a privacy thing....Maybe The Grading company couldnt give out pics...Or Maybe The person who owned the book wouldnt give permission. Theres got to be pics though...I cant imagine A grading company getting the highest recorded FF1 come in and they dont take pictures once they grade it and realize its a record breaker.

I was going by what Heritage Listed... I've never seen a post backfire more than this... because Ironically the exact thing your telling me to "Try"....You should have "TRIED" before acting like a smartass... of course the first thing I did after learning There was "1"....9.9 Hulk 181 was Google it to see if there were pictures, sites or articles. and of course there werent. I also Googled Amazing Spider-Man #1 9.8...and Amazing Spider-Man #1 Highest Graded....again Nothing... so It the ultimate EPIC FAIL....Had you actually taken the time to Google it(like you told me)....You would have seen there are no pictures of these comics online(or at least that I could find)...You would have then saved yourself the embarrassment of Ironically being GUILTY of exactly what you tried accusing me of. Had you GOOGLED IT....you would have seen "Hmmmm...There really arent pictures of these comics, No wonfder he made this thread" Believe me, I only made this post because I tried hard to find pics of these RARE comics....If it was as easy as "Googling it" this post wouldnt exist.

right but is there a specific reason you picked Marvel Spotlight #8? is it a book you always wanted or something? or is it just a dream come true to be collecting and buying again? the way you said it, It sounded like that particular issue had some importance to you...

Thanks...I edited it... and I will...My world has just completely changed since he passed, I lived with him My entire life, He was fully disabled in 2006, but really became critical in 2016. but we had some truly special times ....and My experiences with comics ranks right up at the top....I am so incredibly thankful that I got into comics while he was here and we could share these experiences together...because If he would have been gone, and then I got into comics, It just wouldnt have been the same... He tried so many times to get me interested when I was kid and I just never did...But man when it finally HIT ME...Him and I again had some special times talking comcs...

are these your first comics period? or just your first collection you bought? I noticed you said The Amazing Spider-Man 121 was your first one and you were going to keep it... are you working toward trying to put sets together? its sounds like you got a pretty good start here with The Hulk, are you gonna try to keep adding to what you got a make Hulk set? you gonna try to put together A Spider-Man set? or you just looking to collect Keys?

thanks its beautiful I've got a run from 21 to 37 that look like this... it was really weird , when I went through my Justice League collection...everything from 1 to 20 was G+ to VG....Then This run of 8.0 and Up books from 21 to 37 were there....Then from 38 to 100 it averages from VG to FN+... for some reason, I just Lucked across this 21 to 37 run that was High Grade... I've got a Trio of Keys in 21,22 and 29 that are beautiful... 22 Is the lowest, Its got a small bend in 1 corner, I got it graded as between 7.0 to 8.0... my 29 is just as nice as this one...

Ok so I'm new to this... I just started looking through Heritages Archives.... and what I'm wondering is, Is there A site out there that Has Pictures of The Highest Graded KNOWN Key issuies ? like I just found out, CGC has listed there is 1 Hulk 181(9.9) out there.....surely collectors would want to least see a picture of it. It also reports there are 2 Amazing Spider-Man #1 9.8's out there... has anyone ever made a site With Pictures of The Highest Graded KNOWN Key Issues ? I Would Love to see Pictures the "The 1" (9.9)Hulk 181 Or "The 1" (9.8) Fantastic Four #1 or "The 2" (9.8)Amazing Spider-Man #1 It seems like a good idea and someone would of thought of it by now, to make a site where you can see Pictures of The Highest Graded KNOWN Keys...are there any sites like that out there?

How much do you think the grade would go up if It didnt have The stains on the cover? I actually think they could be cleaned off by someone who knew what they were doing, But I'm not even sure if its worth it...I was thinking the Major problems were the 2 holes in the cover and Cleaning the stains off might help some but not a lot considering The 2 holes probably limit it to a certain low grade.

Congrats.... I inherited My grandfathers collection of 175 Boxes...it took me 3 years to go through it and get it the way I wanted it... But of course the first month or so I went through every box pulling Keys and getting them all together first... simply put, theres is NOTHING like going through A collection and discovering Keys... My grand father lived across the street from me for 9 years before he passed, I knew his collection like the back of my hand, But I still found HUNDREDS of Keys that I didnt even know he had when I went through them after He died I'll never forget when I found A Marvel Spotlight #5....I knew he had 1....it was Rough, Probably a 3.0...I had seen it Many times... I was going through a box of Marvel Team Up and there was The Marvel Spotlight #5, I immediately Thought "whats It doing there, It should be in The Boxes with All His Keys", I pulled it out and started looking at it and Then really started looking at it as I realized something was wrong, It was Beautiful, Probably an 8.0, it was a completely different copy, I then look in the box where I found it and Theres Marvel Spotlight 6 to 11...then Theres Marvel Spotlight #1 to 4....Literally Just A Run Of High Grade Marvel Spotlight #1 to 11 mixed it with A box of Marvel Team Up... I cant tell you how many Keys I found like this and It was So exciting!

Hey Guys Hope you can help, Have no clue how to grade this one as it has some big problems. 1st, right under The Falcon's right arm pit, There A Square piece of the cover missing. 2nd, on The Spine, half way down There another Tiny Square piece Missing 3rd, Theres Heavy staining right in the center of the cover The Book would probably be a 4.0 ish without these defects, But I have no clue how much these defects effect the grade thanks sorry about the bad pics

actually ya.... I'm not looking touch my ASM #1 or anything with that kind of restoration... But I do have a few comics that as I said earlier have Slight Color touch. I've got some comics that are in excellent shape, probably 8.0 or higher....but have maybe 1 or 2 Tiny color breaks on the spine and it looks like someone used markers to color touch the breaks.... most of the the color breaks are only centimeters.... I was thinking maybe something like this could be easily removed....and I was hoping there might be sites out there that show or explain how to remove amateur restoration where someone used Markers ... Obviously I wouldnt even attempt to remove it if The Books had A ton of Color touch with Markers, But most of the ones I've found are literally TINY Color breaks on the spine where they used markers to color touch

someone with grading knowledge please answer this post... I too have several books similar to this and would love to know how much this effects the grade...

Marvel Studios trying to cash in On Black Panther By Fasting tracking Shang-Chi Movie Will have Asian Lead, Asian Director, All Asian Cast, basically trying to be what Black Panther was to The African Culture given Marvel Studios Track Record...I say pretty smart move....but I dont the film having the success Black Panther had but it'll probably be a big hit....and This Book will probably become RED HOT Also may I ask.....could you tell me what you used to take this picture... I'm getting ready to buying something new to take Pictures and These pictures came out wonderful...just curious to what you are using

has it been restored.....in the last picture, on the bottom of The cover it looks like there is Black bleeding through where someone might of color touched it? could be completely wrong, It may just be the pictures. But I have a couple book with similar defects where someone color touched a few small color breaks on the spine that bleed through and looks similar to this...

whats the highest grade a comic can get with writing on the cover like in The OPs book? like for example, if you had a book that was 8.5 in every way but had the exact same writing on the cover, whats the highest the grade could be?
