sorry but one more question.... I've seen threads where you've got a Restored Hulk 1(which had the restoration removed),X-Men 1 and now A TTA 27... all are higher grades... my question is...did you know they were restored at the time you bought them or did you buy them like back in the 90s before CGC got big and didnt know they were restored?

Also how the hell is this only worth 2500.00? In your opinion what would be more valuable... A CGC PLOD 5.0 or a 3.0 Raw with NO Restoration?

do just Love this book and want as many copies as you can get? Or are you buying them to sell? I went to a small time comic con where I live...and guy had bought a table and set up 32 copies of Green Lantern 76... I asked why and how he got so many, He said it was his favorite book and he just bought as many copies as he ran across...

Only got a Group shot Picture...But ASM 129 is in there IMO My ASM 129 is probably between 6.5 to 7.5... I had 2 but traded one that was a lower grade... I think It was a 4.5 to 5.0 and traded it for a 3.0 to 4.0 Journey Into Mystery #85 I inherited me collection from my grandfather...When I did I found several Key issues that 10 or more copies in 1 bag, for example I found 10 copies of Wolverine #1 limit all in one bag(the bag had a stick that said "10 Copies-Wolverine #1") When I found The 2 Amazing Spider-Man #129s...They were in A Bag and Backer where you could tell there had been many copies in it, It had a stick that said "11 copies-A. Spider-Man #129" I went in and asked my dad if he ever remembered my grandpa talking about having 11 copies of ASM 129....He said He did and sometime in the late 90's He sold 9 copies to someone at one time... It was such an odd experience for me... I felt so grateful to have found 2 Copies, but also so GUTTED that I almost lucked across 11 Copies and then the more I thought about it Felt completely STUNNED that He just had 11 copies of ASM 129 sitting around .All in the same bag, like it was no big deal..

I've only got a couple pics,unfortunately they are group shots but HULK 181 is in there. Figured I'd throw this one in as Well...completing the HULK 180,181 and 182 Trilogy

Anybody know any good sites that show Great examples of Restoration Removal? I'm just hoping to see some extreme and minor examples of restoration removal with before and after pics... thanks

Hey... Just wondering, Looking at the pictures of your X-Men 1...as you know I'm very new and dont have much experience... is the restoration job done on your X-Men considered Professional and Good? I have an ASM #1 restored and the restoration isnt even close to the quality of yours? to a person with no experience like me, Your Books restoration looks amazing, But I may just have no clue what I'm looking at? on a scale from 1 to 10, Is your books restoration like a 9 or 10 in terms of quality? thanks

I probably wouldnt have noticed the long crease if you didnt mention it? did you not notice it at all before sending it in? or did you just not think it was bad enough to drop it to a 6.0?

No #4....but I got everything else... My #1s rough though(Probably 2.0) would like to upgrade... Only got 1 picture of my #48 Also wanted to add this Pic for the TTA #94

its definitely got a tiny stain in the upper left corner on that back, I think it might have been from oil or grease, theres no traces of oil or grease left but thats what the stain reminds of ...Its pretty small though... Thanks for The reply ... I personally grade between 8.0 and 8.5 without the Stain...but the stain throws me because I just dont know how to grade comics with stains... I didnt even notice the stain for a long time and had it grade as "Between 8.0 and 8.5"....but A while back I noticed the stain and just dont know how much I should deduct for the stain,,, I wish there was a chart with guidelines and pictures on how to grade Stains...I know all stains are different but I think someone could come up with something that could give us a reasonably close Guideline on stains

Its got a few color breaks on the spine and its got 1 small bend in the upper right corner on the back ...but overall its pretty nice any grades or opinions would be Great? thanks

I have very similar 169, I was thinking about posting it yesterday... as for yours...I'm thinking 4.5 to 5.0....but I must admit the back cover makes me less confident as its got some stuff I'm not exactly sure how to grade If in my collection I'd have it graded "Between 4.5 to 5.0" to be Ultra safe

first thought was 5.5... If in my collection I'd have it graded as "Between 5.0 to 6.0" to be ultra safe

what effects do you see that brings it down to a fine?

no single pics but I do have this one...if you look closely you can see 3 copies of #194 I used to have 15 copies, I inherited a collection of 175 boxes, When I went through my ASM collection there was a 2 Bags filled with 15 Copies of #194 and 15 Copies of #195 I since traded off 12 copies for a few other Keys I needed but I've still got 3 of each Same thing happened With Wolverine #1 Limited, found A bag with 12 copies

I just looked at the back cover again... there may be the slightest of foxing but overall it looks good, I think it may be the pictures....I'm gonna take a better pic of the back and post itand if you could give me your opinion again that would be great...

also Missing AF#15... but at this point, I dont even consider it "Missing" because Its something I'll almost certainly never be able to get now... I almost got one in 2006, one of my biggest regrets. would love just to get the 6 issues I'm missing from 1 to 20 though...theres still very much in reach.. I'm getting back into comics again hard, My father passed away last month and Its completely rocked my world, I'm trying to do things that make me happy to get through this awful time...and Comics are a double edged sword for me now because They bring me much joy but everything about them reminds me of my dad....but I'm focusing on the amazing times my dad and I had together with comics... I havent really been into my collection and comics for about 2 years since my dad got sick...But since joining this board last month, I'm full on back on the train...and I'm gonna look to start adding a few Keys I need and I'd really like to start with those 6 ASM issues I need... would love to say I'm complete from 1 to 241

this is my first "can you spare a grade" grade... I was thinking 6.5 If I were grading in my collection, I would grade it as "Between 6.0 to 7.0" to be ultra safe I'd be more than happy with this in my collection, My 49 is a 4.0

Any Input would be Great! there is a tiny stain on the back cover in the upper left corner...It does not show on the other side of the cover or any on the pages... If you dont mind could you give me a grade on what this book would be without that tiny stain and ultimately what it is with the stain? Just trying to gauge what kind of effect that kinda of stain has on a comic... thanks
