This is a new one. I was going through the shipment that got back to me earlier this week to start scanning and it looks like one of the slabs was not sealed, or barely sealed, prior to sending it off to me. It literally came apart in my hands. For perspective the shipment had 25 books in it and the other 24 cases were flawless.

I think I cursed myself when I started thinking "I havent had an ME in a while."

Same thing happened to me with the 3 GA books I sent in.  One side of 2 of the cases is not sealed at all.

There is the new info Mike tells me, there is the new info my contacts tell me, and then there is the new info I get from other customers...and all I know is plenty of people here are going to be very unhappy in the future.

I've done all I can for now, and I hope the last few invoices I've pushed to Mike do get sent out, but I'm sitting on info that is just awful and I need to figure out if it can even be released (and how much of it is legit while protecting people, also hearsay stories are not any help posted here to anyone actually wanting to take legal action...so all it would do is blow up the place up into lockable chaos).

    Ugh.  It sounds disgustingly awful.

  3. This one puzzled me.  I don’t claim to be an expert, so I’m probably missing something.  Before slabbing, several people flipped through the pages of this copy and not one person mentioned they thought the pages were brittle.  Now, I kinda assumed the pages had been lightened because they looked too good to be true compared to the cover.  I certainly didn’t think of any brittleness.  In fact, I remember thinking how decent the paper was considering the age of the book.

That's hilarious. Can we just ignore him?

The same Automatic Comics doosh that did this:

Not that it really matters much, but for the people who are following along with the Youtube crowd, StickyGoose doesn't think there is a scam.  :roflmao:

    Guy is a dope.

We've already seen that he, as Automatic Comics, stole info from comicwiz in his comments, deleted them,, and stated it was his discovery

To be fair, I believe it's Goose's wife who is an attorney and she is the one explaining the legal documents.  Which, to me, seems very informative.  I have not watched the most recent video above though.

    How did you do?

Well, not the worst sub I’ve ever had, not the best though either.

Cap 2 - came back with resto, which I knew about.  But the slightly brittle PQ is a crock.  The interior isn’t brittle at all.  So, that sucks.

Cap 7 - married cover, I didn’t know about.  But no biggie.

Torch 1 - blue label.  Happy with that.

So, really, just the PQ thing was the only disappointment.

    Definitely annoying.

If you were billed last week, and the amount of the bill depends on the grades of the comics, they have definitely been graded. Fingers crossed that you did well and got some awesome grades :)

Hopefully.  Although, I am a bit puzzled.  The amount charged was less than the amount my submission list stated.  So, I’m wondering why.

I would guess they have probably been graded by now. Sometimes there are delays with the encapsulation process.

The reason I am making this guess is because when they have moved books into a higher tier in my orders is it pretty much always very shortly after G/E/I. If the premium has been assessed and you have been billed for it the grading must have been done. The books are graded at that point but not encapsulated, and we cant see the results until they are shipped.

Yeah, you’re probably right.  I was billed last week.  So, it’s a little irritating that the encapsulation/QC process is taking this long.

  8. This is pretty much echoing many others here, but here's my opinion:

This guy has proven time and time again he cant be trusted.  As far as the drug use or addiction goes, this entire situation fits perfectly with a person who spends their entire day hustling and scheming to get their fix of choice.  For 15 years, I managed a buy/sell/trade music and movie store on the westside of a major city.  Constantly, all day from opening to closing, I delt with addicts selling whatever they could find to get money for whatever.  The constant excuses, the incoherent rambling, it all fits.  I'm glad some people have been getting their books back.  But honestly, I believe those lucky few will be in the extreme minority.
