  1. Will be very funny if she does appear and it's as "herself".
  2. Marvel was only 17 pages as well during the 40 Cent era But they had Perez, Byrne, Cockrum, Miller, Golden, Romita Jr., Layton, John Buscema, Sal Buscema, Austin in their stable during that same time.
  3. The first 30 would have to be newsstands, although possible a small few of those could be Whitman Distributed editions...
  4. It will always exist but in downtrodden Comic Book Market with few Rubes spending freely its suppressed quite a bit. Was easy for many to look smart from April 2020 to April 2022 but now those posers are revealed. Present state of the MCU is also a negative contributor. The current still growing in scope CGC scandal simply will not help the Comic market, the only question is how much will it hurt? For the most part there are many current better and safe investments out there. P.S. regarding any spike on Dazzler 1, it will come back down so anyone purchasing now is foolish.
  5. Blackstone's entire cost of this mess can recouped simply by eliminating the next bonus or 2 of CGC Exec's. Blackstone probably will not do so, but who knows? if they do MCS should be receiving a few resumes soon.
  6. [begin sarcasm] Comic Book Dealer (or Seller) with highly questionable Morals and Ethics, that's not possible [end sarcasm]
  7. Nixon Ends Convertibility of U.S. Dollars to Gold and Announces Wage/Price Controls August 1971 With inflation on the rise and a gold run looming, President Richard Nixon's team enacted a plan that ended dollar convertibility to gold and implemented wage and price controls, which soon brought an end to the Bretton Woods System. https://www.federalreservehistory.org/essays/gold-convertibility-ends Before my time, but i learned it in Elementary school
  8. You may both be correct. I've had re-holders missing CPV notations that I sent back as ME; last time same cert number (in 2022), but that not always the case, no pun...
  9. and Probably off-eBay. I'd expect no less as they are Comic Book Seller/Dealers after all!
  10. Simple solution for CGC is to stop messing up so, so, so very much. There seriously need to implement Six Sigma like disciplines.
  11. Unless he submitted the books, how would he know the MVS remains intact inside a Hulk 181? The answer is he does not.
  12. Always been allowed and in eBay's earlier days all that was needed was an email address to open an account - that's it nothing else was required.
  13. Definitely not the one pictured in CGC's DB! However the one in the DB does not look like 9.8 either , the upper right corner should lower it to 9.4 or very weak 9.6. https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/4318979004/
  14. Ofttimes low tech and analog protections are the most difficult to defeat. Seems to me CGC or any top Tier grading service needs a dept akin to what the US Secret Service does for the US Treasury and that is; prevent, detect, investigate and go after counterfeiters and rouge insiders. If CGC does have one of those departments, then frankly they have failed
  15. So not the #2 all-time NFL touchdown passing leader? Darn, I had very high hopes this went all the way up to Goodell!
