  1. I enjoy viewing art even if i do not own it and post mine for others. I do bet for some its an ego thing still even if so others do have the opportunity to view it which is nice.
  2. Due to one of kind I see that less llikley for 20th century mainstream superhero art. Now for non key Comic Books i do agree with you. Do remember vintage superhero OA art was not barely even slowed 2007-2008. As for run of the mill modern pieces by not in demand artists correction will occur - maybe
  3. Sure Hulk 1 is fine but what about hulk 340? Its high pop bronze, copper, and modern taking the hits. I dont believe anyone even alluded to hulk 1 type stuff tanking
  4. Marvel was able to publish Giant Size Man-Things in the 70s, Wizards should have at least issued some $$$shot forest nymph cards by now. Down with up err i mean prudes
  5. Currently 6 on census. So nowhere near Little Stooges 7 rare :). With low census pop Bronze Gold Key/Whitman (or Charlton) the paramount question one must ask is "Scarce or Scarcely any Demand"? Most cases probably the later. Once there is some demand folks will start to Submit ala Twilight Zone 84. In general expect Gold Keys/ Whitmans to have lower high grade pops than Marvel or DC from the Bronze Age. Very Nice book BTW
  6. Gone 10+ months but perfect to have it back in October. Thought with press it would go a bit higher. I've received 9.6's on many less nice books still not bad for a $1 purchase in 1996. From Rino, my go to local show seller back the day.
  7. Another Bronze-ish but IMHO this is the best place to add it. Back after 10+ months. A $5.00 1995 small local show purchase. My direct sale 9.8 is ow/w as well. WP continue to elude me on this book.... Maybe my next try will do it? But that won't be until after my freeze on submitting due to poor Q/C ends. Based on having to probably send back 2 (1 for fuzz in the slab) from this just received submission no telling if my freeze will ever end? I'm not the biggest Milgrom fan but have a soft spot for this cover as it was the first Comic I ever saw with the Silver Surfer. 250 is 1st true Sabre and Arabian Knight not 256 - yea I know a Hulk 180 / 181 situation
  8. With the MJ and the Tattooz the inserts nearly outnumber the actual pages
  9. Summer of 2022 appears to have been way too optimistic It's now Mid Oct 2022 and they are finally back! Appears my Grading estimates were spot on! I've submitted many Comics to CGC over the past 22+ years and Zone 85 is one of few that has great personal meaning to me. It now represents the Comic I've owned the longest that I've submitted to CGC having acquired it originally as a child in Spring 1983.
  10. If CGC Graded: https://www.cgccomics.com/census/
  11. Loser [ loo-zer ] a person, team, nation, etc., that loses person, team, nation that has failed at a particular activity Thus by the very definition of the word those who were depicted on the statues were LOSERS. Perhaps those offended prefer to see winners on statues?
  12. It no longer has anything to do with comics and barely did to begin with. Simply move it to the proper sub-forum like "water cooler" @CGC Mike
  13. @CGC Mike - I ask again - especially given the last 10-12 pages, why is this topic is permitted in Comics General?
  14. Back this week after 12.5 months away in a no-press Econ submission. A $5 1995 purchase from the massive Western File Copy collection sold via ad then phone call to Geppi/Diamond in 1995. I picked up around 20 or so books (from Ann) back then, this the first I've submitted. Probably not even worth the cost of grading but I love oddball titles. Prior to this the last one (a 6.0) of this issue was added to the CGC census more than 21 years ago sometime before July 2001. Scarce Bronze or scarcely a care?
  15. If he does it might make it the most valuable comic of all-time. Those who get the joke will be smiling.
  16. Lots of sheep out there who seem all too willing to be led to slaughter.
  17. They seem like silver age size polypropylene with matching boards to me. Try "Bags Unlimited" or "bcwsupplies" or "Hotflips" - listed in no particular order.
