  5. In response to your question of the day, no, I don’t think it would hit the numbers you’ve cited because it doesn’t have the same audience. Nor does that audience care as much if they owned the original comic book appearance vs TPB.
  6. And for the sake of transparency, I have 3 copies of ASM 194 and I am not selling. I am not hyping it, pumping it up only to dump it, etc. I just feel that ASM books from this era, in very high demand for decades, could (should?) be selling for even more than present prices.
  7. I wasn’t even aware this was happening.
  8. Let’s take a look at this in a different way. ASM is the most collected back issue title of all time. Spidey back issues reign as king of the Silver Age and well into the Bronze Age (dethroned by the Claremont/Byrne X-Men run, I believe). so, with perpetual demand spanning decades, I’m surprised this book isn’t MORE expensive than it is currently. oh, and another point…given it’s print run, 461 copies in 9.8 is not a big number. Quite the opposite.
  9. You must list your selling price, per board rules. Otherwise, the mods will remove your listing.
  10. Personally, I think that you’ve been pumping your book so much for so long that it’s fallen on deaf ears. I mean no offence by this, but there comes a time when folks simply tune out ‘noise’.
  11. I’ve seen a few of the art drop shows and they should just stop. wanna sell art? Update your website or CAF gallery. I don’t need to hear three dealers trying to justify their insane prices by hyping that panel one has the 1st appearance of Rooster Man’s beak (or whatever nonsense)
  12. Enjoyed his artistic style from ‘88-‘92, but I can’t get into his style on Hellboy or the character.
  13. A closer look at this sale shows the seller has only 35 feedback, all as a buyer and none as a seller so I'm 100% certain the inherent risk imbedded therein kept several potential bidders away. Next!!!
