Alain is a treasure.
He sent payment for a book within seconds after we agreed on a price.
He contacted me immediately after receiving the book, and even left feedback for me.

i was astounded everytime i watched his show back then, he made it look so easy !
And he had a completed oil painting within 25 minutes.
If Frazetta actually said that Bob "over works the painting", he should have realized that would not be plausible given the time constraint.

Found this great deal on Ebay, but someone beat me to it.

I loved the look of Battlezone. Never played it on the console, just in arcades and spent a lot of quarters on it.
Battlezone was one of the first 3D games. The other games of that era couldn't match that sensation of being immersed in a battle from all sides. It was great.

Very happy for you.
As a fellow hoarder, I can understand why you'd want to scale back.
I have more hobbies and interests than time to enjoy them.

The Atari 2600 was probably the first console I bought. Spent a lot of time playing Space Invaders.
Shortly after that, I acquired a Vectrex console and was addicted to Battlezone.
The Vectrex used a vector scan display instead of a raster scan.
Lines were bright with no pixelation.
Wish I'd kept it.

I’m also available to look up graders notes for anyone for a $5.00 fee. PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle accepted.
Is that $5.00 per book or for any number of books?

It was a zero feedback seller so "buyer beware" I guess.
It was "buyer beware" before you bought it.
He sold you a book for less than its normal selling price.
He then sent pics which show he is clueless about how to package books for shipping.
He's trying to torment you.

Me : I don't think I'll go to Fantasticon this year, I really can't afford to buy anything good anyway.
My wife : We're going.
Me : You don't even collect comics!
My wife : I like to look around.
I guess we're going.

Jesus, yes. I don't need my refrigerator to suddenly become self aware. Wasn't a T-1000 that did me in. It was a Frigidaire-2000. Smothered me with my own potato salad.
I forsee a day when AI is incorporated into the fridge. It begins by making dietary suggestions, then evolves to scan your body mass index. It will make certain compartments inaccessible until you shape up and obey.

Easy to see if you hover over the avatar it brings up the stats, so that's not broken. Just more of a PITA.
How can I hover on a touch screen?

Yeah, you're old. But our posting percentages are almost equal. I like you.

Thank you so much. It's been tough keeping my rigid posting schedule, there were times I didn't think that I could go on.
If anyone wants to check their "post to days" ratio, here's a day to day calculator.

Well, today is the 1715th day I've been on the boards. This is my 851st post.
That is unbelievably close to 1 post every 2 days.

Sound like Supes is a Social Justice Warrior, not that there is anything wrong with that!

The Maltese Falcon and The Treasure of The Sierra Madre are two of my favorites.
My son is a huge Bogart fan too.
He bought a 1951 Chevy Styleline and added a personalized license plate which reads BOGART.
