  1. You need to count the wins and losses separately. I had 10 wins 9 losses. 10-9
  2. Smart move. I don't know why more sellers don't list a few "buy it nows" when these discounts appear. I did an Ebay search for "spider-man ebay 15" yesterday and it yielded 3 results. The seller actually put it in the item title. That may not seem like a good idea to the Ebay buyers who didn't get the discount, though.
  3. Picked up some silver age bags and boards, some router bits and Archie's Festival by Spire Christian comics. Paypal didn't like me paying with my phone and asked me to change my password. Almost made me miss the deadline.
  4. That didn't show up in my email, only in the ebay app. Only lasts until 7pm Pacific time today. I'll check it out when I get home from work! Thanks for posting this!
  5. Had a great time at the show today. I didn't know @catrick339 was there, so sorry I didn't know to look for him. Picked up a few nice books, and met some great artists, writers and collectors! @romitaman To Mike Burkey, whose art collection is unparalleled, here's the photo I promised you.. Also met Craig Boldman, Archie writer who did a neat B&V sketch for me. One of the nicest guys I've ever met, too. And Gerry Conway, who is also much nicer than I imagined he'd be. He killed Gwen Stacy.
  6. Well, I heard Stan say in an interview that "after I'm gone, I don't care" (or words to that effect). I'm sure he doesn't care about earthly things now, but that tweet bothers me. What's next? A CGI Stan in a cameo in the new movies?
  7. In 2017, I saw an Ebay auction for a coverless ASM #1. The listing had plenty of photos, and I knew it wasn't an original by looking at the splash page. The coloring looked odd. The pics of the inside pages showed ad pages with "FACSIMILE ADVERTISEMENTS. NO LONGER VALID" clearly marked. I messaged the seller and told him it was a reprint. He never replied back and the book sold for over a hundred bucks. This seller dealt in antiques, not comics. Ebay link 4 bidders bid on this. I believe it was a coverless Marvel Tales 138. Maybe the winning bidder had a repro cover put on and slabbed the book?
  8. This is what Marvel Tales 138 looks like: Do you suppose the seller removed the original cover or just happened to have a coverless copy? YIKES! I just saw the asking price.
  9. Some of those defects don't have a Googleable name. How can I research a defect if I don't know what to call it...
  10. I'm taking a crash course in grading by studying the previous contests . I'll submit my grades when I'm prepared to crash.
  11. I always thought that everyone misinterpreted this cover, but after watching some Rifleman blooper reels on Youtube, I'm not so sure. Chuck Conners had a strange sense of humor off camera.
  12. Nice grab, Frank! If I hadn't been troubleshooting my furnace, I would have done the same.
  13. Here's another example of a possible Kirby sig from Ebay: Maybe an expert could tell if all these signatures are legit, I sure can't.
  14. That's a tough one. The 90 day average for the #194 is $191, so $165 would be a nice discount. The #122 price has been pretty much unchanged the last couple years, so my advice is to buy them both.
